My college is one of the best ranked colleges in India and second top most national Institute of Technology. Infrastructure and facilities live up to their name. But i dont think the students there live up to that. I think we could be more resonable
Course Curriculum Overview
Yeah the schedule is loose but the exams are very tough but more learning and self study is required to pass the exams which is good to gain knowledge and own experience of studying. It goes semester wise that is two semisters per year
Placement Experience
Placements are handeled by students called tnp coordinaters. They communicate with hrs of many companies in reference to students and get them to campus recruitment. There is also intership opportunity in my college. In fact I am in one. I can't give you the stipend details but experience will definitely be once in a lifetime kind
College Events
There are two fests celebrated one in each semester of an year. In first semester tech fest called technozeon is celebrated and in second semester cultural fest called spring spree is celebrated. Technozion is about showcasing our technical talents where spree is all about having fun
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is rather expensive but because of the governments new rule about economically backward category, middle class people are now able to afford it. Tution fee is 62,500 rupees per semester. Hostel fee varies per hostel but is around 20k per semester
Fees and Financial Aid
Merit Scholarship is offered by college where students who are not economically backward category and got good gpa that year from each branch can apply and one or two from each branch gets the scholarship.
Campus Life
Every semester there will be labs for personal experience and practice. Play ground is open at all times and people can play there cricket football and many other games. There are clubs maintained by students for extra curicullar activities where people can go and showcase their talents. These clubs are overseen by faculty
Hostel Facilities
Infrastructure is very good. Infact one hostel is namely the biggest one in Asia. Based on the hostel rooms can be double, single or triple hostel allotment is done in a way that first years are kept away from seniors to prevent ragging which is very thoughtful
Alumni/Alumna
Yes a club called a almuni student body is maintained which conducts events for alumni when they come that club contains contacts of different alumi whom we can call at any time for advice. Senior students also guide us in different ways for studying and placement stuff
Admission
I wrote jee mains and later went through a detailed process where I kept the options of different colleges and branches in order which I like and would have a chance to get them. Then there were around six rounds in which each round I can freeze with the college I got and I got nit
Faculty
They are very experienced in their respective fields of teaching. They excel in almost every topic of their course.they are very strict to be Frank. But I guess that's what you get with experienced faculties
