Course Curriculum Overview
i would say that the course cirriculam is very nice and relevant. however, the NEP has surely diluted our honours course but still we do learn a lot about diferent eras in literature. it is super fun to study. all the famous literary texts are taught carefully
Fees and Financial Aid
our college fees varies frim 25-30k per year. there are various scholarships available for students below poverty line. the facilities are top notch as per the fees. we have clean campus and overall all necessary facilities. we will be paying less than one lakh for our graduation which is very affordable and plus there are refundable scholarships also.
Campus Life
my overall college experience is quite thrilling. some might find it overwhelming as it brings new challenegs everyday. it provides us with great exposure, different oppurnities in every feild. we do have ober 80 clubs or societies in our college which as fairly active, providing the students with great oppurnities alongside academics.
Admission
hansraj college is considered as one of the best college in entire of India. i was very passionate about getting into any top north campus college in delhi university. it has great facilities and one of the best teachers. the admission process is quite straightforward. just need to give CUET examination and then with a high score, you can easily get into the college. comparing it to other north campus colleges, it is quite the same in terms of academics but not so much in extracirriculars and events.
Faculty
oue faculty members are all either assistant professors or phd professors with great knowledge of their respective feilds. they are very helpful and always willing to help students. my course is english hons. and we have total of 6 semesters for a 3 year course, conducting exams twice a year. talking about the marking schemes, our internals often have strict markings but the written examination is marked linentaly.
Night Life
nightlife is not the best in north campus itself. there are some areas around the college which offers great nightlife but not specifically our campus. plus it is not the safest place to roam around at night especially for girls
