Remarks

The college is really good as its located in a prime location, thats Bandra Mumbai. There are alot of places besides that can be visited by students to chill. Also some of the faculties are really good, they write books for engineering syllabus. But overall the college is really good for aspiring engineering students.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum was decent. But it dint have major aspects which a student should learn after going to an engineering college. The faculties must always look upon practical applications of what we study.

Placement Experience

4

The placement opportunity is good. But theres alot of competition nowadays in engineering (specially IT and Computers field) The college doesn't provide any internship opportunity as far as i know. But they do encourage students to take internships from outside college.

College Events

4.5

There were multiple events celebrated in my college in which even i was a part of for almost 3 years. It has music events from popular singers like (for eg. Sona mohapatra, siddharth mahadevan, etc) Then we had comedy events which had comedians from TVF, AIB, SNG. Also there were standup comedians like Atul khatri, Vipul goyal, and such major famous standup comedians.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is expensive when u compare it with some government colleges. Its around 5 times of that of the government colleges. Its very expensive for students coming from very poor families but they dont have enough marks to get admission in any government college and end up in college like mine.

Fees and Financial Aid

I know of a Tution fee waiver in which only 40% of the fees is to be paid by the student. Thats alot for people coming from backward class. It helps them alot and gives them further opportunity. I dont think they provide any loan facility.

Campus Life

3.5

The computer labs are really good. They had to be as its an engineering college with its major stream in Computers and Information technology. Sports was also given a reasonably good consideration and we also had many sports events throught the academic term.

Alumni/Alumna

I dont think the alumni network is strong enough as they dont even have alumni meets. I am myself an alumni but i dont have any opportunity to connect with the current students whom i can help with their future or even help the faculties in the college so as to how they can improve.

Admission

I got admission throught an Institute round which is conducted by the college itself. It considers CET marks to form the merit list and then calls the top students for admitting. I scored enough to receive a call from the college for the admission process

Faculty

3

The faculty is decent. Some of the teachers arent up to the mark. Some just come for the sake of getting money from the job. They are not happy about teaching things to students. Whereas some teachers actually look upon to whether a student is satisfied with how they are teaching and they try to improve themselves.

Placement Experience:

Placements at ADYPU are moderate and structred . Students usually become eligilble from the final year for campus drives. Various startups and mid level comapnies visit for roles in sales, marketing, operatioons and tech support . The highest pacakage generally ranges arounf 45-50LPA , while the average package is around 4.5-6 LPA , depending on the profile . A fair percentage of active students secure placements. After completing my degree, i plan to focus on skill development and pursue better career op;portunities.

Placement Experience:

placements in GHRCE are pretty good for CS/IT branches. Students become eligible from 7th semester, but companies starts giving training sessions from 6th sem itself. Many known companies visits like Tcs, Wipro, Capgemini, cognizant, Infosis etc The highest package goes around 20-22 LPA while the average package is around 5-6 LPA. Almost 70-80% students from CS/IT get placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get a stable job and then do masters.

Government College of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Artificial Intelligence & Data Science)
Reviewed on Mar 2, 2025(Enrolled 2022)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course out of sheer curiosity and intrest in the field of Artificial Intelligence . The course offered by the college encapsulates all the major subtopics included in the field. Theoretically the curriculum offers great knowledge about various topics from your course however you yourself have to figure out how do you build your practical skills which you can use in the real world. teaching methods can be improvised by implementing a more practical learning based approach rather than relying on the theoretical part of the subject. there are 2exams per semester, one small exam called as mid semester exams and the other one is the major exam called as final semester exam. difficulty of exam is usually easy to moderate and one can easily pass the exam even if he/she does not study regularly.
