Course Curriculum Overview

3

I was interested in cyber security for that I took this course because my cousin brother are already in it company as cybersecurity head. Let's be real in college there is no only that old education system nothing is new. So they will teach that old thing only. So in 5 months we'll have to give 3 exam means per semester 3 exams.

Internships Opportunities

5

I haven't done internship till now in reva but yes they'll provide internship in 3rd year but according to whatever I know there will be internship but there is low chances of getting stipend. I don't know much about projects and outcomes till now so I won't comment on this

Placement Experience

3

From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement. After maintaining 8+cgpa per sem without any backlogs. Dell, amazon, accenture and many companies visited. Around 60 offers made in pre placements. Last year 27lakhs was highest package made. Around 90% students get placed. My plan is for working in it company.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fee for CSE iot is ?475000. But I took admission through RevaCET through which I got scholarship of ?40000 per year. All fee is included in this amount except examination fee. 3000 examination fee we'll have to pay per semester. If you have back you'll have to pay ?500 per subject. If you're resident of Karnataka and you gave KCET exam and took admission through it then you'll have to pay only around ?100000 per year. So there is a huge gap between karnataka resident or AP students and other state students.

Campus Life

2

Reva uthava happens every year but due to murder in campus on that day 2 year ago dean banned it for 3 years. Huge range of book available in library there is separate building for libarary 4 floor building it is. In sports reva is good 100% scholarship for national level players in tution fee. There are many clubs for each branch.

Hostel Facilities

4

There will be 1 drower for each person In room. WiFi is available 24/7 which gives quite Good speed. Food quality is good in hostel you'll have to scan QR code and Will have to get entry at mess and yes you'll have to book food 24 hour's before meal timing in space basic app. Hostel fee is quite high 145000 for 4 sharing 169000 for 3 sharing 2.5 lakhs for 2 Sharing and for 1 sharing with ac you'll have to pay around 4 lakhs.

Admission

I choose this college because my uncle suggested me for this college he's already living in banglore for past 25 years. According to him Reva university is good compared to other colleges at this fee in banglore. I applied for christ university, acharya University . And uncle suggested me this college so I took admission here. I wasn't rejected from other colleges. Admission Process is very easy.Just fill application give Reva CET exam pay fee and you're done.

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio is good in classroom there is 60 students per subject we'll get 1 teacher which is good. In labs there Will be 3 teacher per 30 students. 2 batch is divided in all labs in one group 30 students are there. V. Chandra sir the maths professor I like him most because personally he take care of all students if he's studying or not. There are 3 exams per semester ia1,ia2 and sem end examination.

Night Life

2

Gym is there in campus but you'll have to pay 4000 for 3 months for using gym which is quite High after paying 145000 per year for hostel fee for 4 sharing. There is good cafeteria open roof and closed roof also. It opens 8am in morning and closes 9pm in night. You'll have to come before 7:30 in campus in evening otherwise you'll have to resister your name in dairy after coming. In girls are not allowed to roam in campus after 9pm. There is no such restrictions for boys. Famous hangout places in campus is maggie point food court here you'll find couples????. Locality isn't safe at all in this area. And local people also of this area isn't good in nature.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the NIAT curriculum around four out of five. In my opinion, it is good that the curriculum is not only based on theoretical studies. The inclusion of coding, projects, assignments, and practical knowledge is quite engaging for the students, as they can apply the acquired information in practice. Additionally, I find the curriculum up to date compared to the standard Btech syllabus, which mainly focuses on theoretical background. However the curriculum could have fewer assignments, as some of them are rather time consuming and require additional study to achieve a better understanding of a particular subject.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Personally, I was interested in ECE course since I liked working around chips and was intrigued by how they worked, which is what led me to choosing this course. The curriculum is not the best for real-world applications since the syllabus is pretty outdated. The teaching does involve smart boards and can be visual as well, but it can be utilized better by the professors. A semester lasts for around 5 months, with the last month only involving SEE (Semester End Examinations) and the first four months consisting of 2 CIE tests in the 2nd and 4th months. It also involves practical examinations.

Placement Experience:

KSIT has an average placement rate of 70%-85% depending on the branch . CSE,ISE and ECE branches have higher placements while mechanical and civil have fewer opportunities in IT sector . Average package is about 4-6LPA . KSIT attracts many IT based recruitiers with some core companies for non -IT branches . It also provides pre-placement training, coding boot cams, aptitude tests and soft skills development . Alumni network is moderate, but students need off-campus efforts for high paying jobs

Placement Experience:

The on-campus usually starts in 6th Semester. A company called MathCo was the first company it came for the role of analyst. Around 5-7 people got selected. The average package would be usually around 4-4.5 LPA, but highest package was 6.25 from PlanetSpark for role of Sales. The percentage is nearly to 10-12%. After degree, get a job and work for atleast 2 years for learning current trends is my basic thought as of now.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course I adopted since I couldn't do my neet. In 2nd year I thought of taking CSE . I GOT MANY SEATS IN OTHER COLLEGES FOR OTHER COURCES. But I wanted to adopt only CSE based . I mean social or economical or design thinking and scientific foundation.. these courses are of no use while learning engineering so this might be the drawback . Exams are conducted very strictly in our clg and I appreciate that !
