Infrastructure is best in my opinion as compare to other colleges.
Security for students is top notch.For girls and boys both
Faculty and hostel service is Very good.

Dislikes

Campus is not that big as compare to other college like Cu and all.
Fees is high not resonable,you need to pay for clubs like sports at all.

INFOSYS, CISCO , L & T , WIPRO ,TCS, TECH MAHINDRA And many more aproxx 100+ companies,There are various offers of btech students like software and game development.Web development companies also come in our college for hiring.

Placement Experience

6th semester students are eligible for internships and placements,TCS , INFOSYS , CISCO,L & T ,WIPRO and many more wipro hired approx 100 on the avg package of 6lpa.Highest package is 50lpa and avg is 9lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

so year fees is basically 240000 this is tution fee,and hostel is depend on room to room it will lie b/w 72000 to 92000.If you have specialization then your fees is high like 20000 per semester and there is no scene of category .

Campus Life

Campus life is very good and fests and events are also good and you can improve your social life here.Chitkara biggest fest is rangrezz which is happend recently in 2024.Sports and extra curricular activities ar very much good.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilites are very good provide indoor games .Hostel meal is different types and very much good And there are 5 messes for boys and 3 for girls.You can register for hostel by online link.Yes there are pg's and flats near university.

Admission

I appilied for cu and neighbours collegs but i prefer this over these colleges. Infrastructure is good and faculty is supportive and no i dont get rejected from these colleges.admission is based on jee and 12 percentage

Faculty

student for cse is like 3000 and faculty is 1500,and there behavious and relation toward student is very good.They behave like we are adults which is good.C programming sir is very good .His behavious is very friendly.

Night Life

Nightlife is good,Chandigarh is near by college take onoly 30 minute drive.Gym are also very good,Hostel timing is 12 PM for both girls and boys .Famous hangout places is square 1 and square 2,Alpha zone,Beta zone and many more.

PEC is great choice

Placement Experience:

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

Placement Experience:

Yes,very good college placements are available in our college.Students of 8 semester that is 4th year students are eligible for campus placement Companies such as TCS,wipro,amex,gemini solutions and etc many more companies are there for placement 60-80% students got placed in the companies with an average package of 8 lakhs and with a highest package of 35 lakhs Iam oriented towards govt jobs and in future if I will be interested in coding sector I will do preparation for off campus and specifically for Rubrik

Placement Experience:

Placement do occur in the college. It's average package is around 7.5, lakh. Since I am the first year right now, I don't have data to support the placement record, but some of my seniors of fourth year are getting placed. One of my IT senior got placed for 14 LPA and other other, my Cse senior got placed for around 12 LPA. so opportunities are there for those who want to do something

Nmims Chandigarh for btech review

Placement Experience:

We have avergae package of 12 lpa and 57lpa highest, i am not aware of how mqny placed. As such i have plan to get placed but if things didnt go out as planed then mba or mtech maybe. Our campus just opened recently so there is no much information but our placements are central that means, companies visting mumbai have to visit us too, and u can refer mumbai campus placement for our campus because its counted on central level and not varries campus to campus

Honest insider review - Chitkara University, Punjab

There was no such entrance exam sort of thing. they were just expecting a minimum percentage in the boards examination that too was very low to be honest. i didnt found such difficulty for the admission process as i had scored good marks in the 12th board. The application form was available on the official website of the university. The fees has been increased the last time i toook admission. It took 162,000 for 1 yr of college fees. No reservation benifits were availed by me being a GENERAL. Overall, the admission process was easy i found no diificulty. Although, they can improve the communication hrough the intermediater who accepted my form and took me thorugh the admission process. as it was online, i found some difficulty in communicating with themaslso havinng some misunderstandings with them.....Read More
