Remarks

The negative thing that i can say about my college is that it has a long working hour form morning 8:30 am to evening 4 pm so it can be reduced and other then that all the thing in my college is good and I can suggest some of my friends to study her

Course Curriculum Overview

The course which I studied was mechanical engineering and in my college all the teaching staff were will skilled and the college has very large amount of machines and other experiement setup for the students

Internships Opportunities

Yes I had goon to an internship form my college and they make me learn more about the subject and in the internship I was paid 3000 rs per month and the internship period was 3 months so I earned nearly 10 k

Placement Experience

The jobs dan placement are very good there is an separate cell for placement called the placement cell and they give the job vacancy if any provided in the college to the placement coordinator and the people shared the student

College Events

The even celebrated in the college are Cultural day is a great day for the students to represent there talented and so Sports day is to make and play the sports and the price distribution is given to the students

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is feasible not expensive it is an average fee structure so that all the students can come and learn and they college collects only the correct amount of fee as per the government is announced

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides three scholarships to the students one is from the government to all the students in the college and the second is the department scholarship is provided to the department topers for better leaning and the bank also provide loan for the student

Campus Life

They are many extracurricular activity in my college such as learns design software and other skilled and thy give more important features to the sports and every year sport day is also been celebrated

Hostel Facilities

I’m an Day scholar in my college but I have lessons a lot about the college hostel and the mess In the college is very good the food is very taste and good and healthy even the rooms are kept clean and good proper ventilation is provided

Alumni/Alumna

Yes my college provides alumni meeting every one year once along with college graduation day and all the students are made to come the alumni meeting and they are allowed to share their time in the meeting

Exam Structure

The exam structure is very strict along exam are conducted in different subjects in the different department and in the exam the students are mad to sit in various pattern so they can not copy in the exam

Admission

I got good marks in my higher secondary school and with those mark and cut off I was called for an councling in Anna university guindy and in the councling I just selected the college and then I went to the admissions to the college

Faculty

The faculty in my college are will skilled and good trained and they teach very good in terms of the knowledge and they provide better teaching in all the subjects and they even provide special classes

In vlb Janakiammal college of arts and science kovaipudhur coimbatore ,i dont know much about the placements but there are so much placements for everyone the placement success rate is almost 98 persent

They allow all cultural events.They also conduct events in the college

They increase penalty if students dont pay the sem fees on time then they also increase the exam fees from sem to sem

Life in HIMT

Likes

With regards to training and placements the college is very good . All training as per DGMA and IMU is strictly followed and the placements for B.Sc is 90% and above . The faculties and instructors in the college are well experienced and skilled.
The college is strict regarding alcohol and smoking and it is not allowed inside campus and regular alcohol checks are conducted . Discipline and safety is the first priority for the college.
Classrooms are air conditioned. Hostel rooms are good . Any defects in rooms or any places inside college which are addressed are rectified.

Dislikes

College doesn't conduct inter college events . Internal events are very less . The few events conducted in college has also many restrictions.
Galley food can be better . College canteen is not good

Placement Experience:

The placements for B.Sc Nautical science in HIMT is 90% and above . The placement drive usually starts in the 2nd year (4th semester) and for girls 1st year (2nd semester). The companies which usually come for placements in my college are MOLMI,MOLTA, ZODIAC,SANMAR,GENCO, ONESEA etc ... The package for cadets differ from company to company and type of vessel.

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

all staffs are we experienced in their field and good in explaining, very friendly
hostel is well maintained and college is always clean
everything works in college based upon the review system. so any issues will resolve quickly

Placement Experience:

HIMT has good placements rates to all the batches, espically for GME they are doing well good. many gets placements in first semester itself. many big gaint companies in marine industry are approching to HIMT for placements.

I got admission in this college via counselling. I had PCB in 10+2 and gave NEET which a national entrance test exam to get admission into medical courses. The scores obtained in entrance exam matters a lot in deciding the merit.
