Architecture and natural habitat of campus is enjoyable .
Central library system for students is quite good
New Events and rubaroo freshers party for new students

Dislikes

Their late fees penalty is so frustrated
All faculty work on paper work they doesn't think practical
75% attendance criteria is so bad it should be 50%

Course Curriculum Overview

Techers and students have burden of attendance, many of students will attend class only for attendance. If this criteria is not happened then students of college will be more productive and utilise their time

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 65000 per year

Placement Experience

We are eligible for campus placement on our last semester of course. Before that we have provided knowledge about our course, companies like tata , ad many more famous company come at university for hiring students

Fees and Financial Aid

We pay our fees on semester vise which is 33000 per semester. And there will be penalty if we submit late fee of 100 per day .there is scholarship facility for top scorer students and some certificate.

Campus Life

Overall experience of college is average for me and for other students it depends on their mindset how they see this college as an opportunity or disaster for their golden period of life , different types of groups are available

Admission

I have applied for this college because it best college gwalior and rank amon 1 or 2 among top universities in gwalior. Addmission process is you can addmission of basis of your 12th percentage, interview or exam

Faculty

Faculty of college is cooperative with each students and we provided every note with in time , there are 3 exams for a single semester mid term 1&2 and end term . Viva and practical also held at end of semester

Night Life

I haven't visited in night time of my campus yet, but still I can guess is that after leaving of every students and faculty except hostel students there will be ghost silence in college and better of birds and other species at night

My Experience at college

Likes

I like the overall campus environment and the friendly atmosphere of the college. The faculty members and supportive and explain the subjects well. There are also different activities and events where students can participate and interact with others
The infrastructure and basic facilities are good. I also like that the course provides opportunities to learn technical skills and prepare for placements.s

Dislikes

The college experience is good overall, but some areas need improvement. Placement opportunities could be better and more companies should be invited for campus recruitment.
Practical learning and industry-oriented training can also be increased. Sometimes administrative work takes more time than expected.
The infrastructure is decent, but some facilities could be improved and maintained better

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course as good and useful .I chose BCA because it has key areas like coding,data,web work and other IT skills.The course gives a good base for jobs and also helps students who want to study more. The course can be better with more lab work,live tasks and job based skills.Teachers can use more real life cases and demos in class. There are tests and final exams each term.The exam level is fair and can be managed with good study.

My life in Oriental university

Likes

I liked the overall campus environment of the university . The campus is quite large ,clean and has good infrastructure.
The labs in college in are well equipped especially for computer science student . some system have configuration like 16 gb ram .
the faculty member are supportive and helpful. teachers are always ready to guide student , clear doubts and personal situation whenever needed

Dislikes

the quality of mess food is average and sometimes not up to expections. There are limited option and some food combination not liked by students
There are single water cooler in available , which sometimes create problem for both boys and girls.
we are sometimes fined for low attendance ,bunking class or even sitting in the canteen during lecture hours

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is decent but not exceptionsal. it covers the basic and important subject required for the course so you dont get a good theoritical understanding. However some parts of the syllabus feel outdated and fully aligned with current industry requirments. the course had a good mix of course subjects and some practical components on paper which looked promising at the time of admission. The overall structure seemed relevent for building foundational knowledge.

i think as we studied and learned how we should repect others without any boundaries
the smart classrooms were great and had good sleek design making it refresshing
the college required discipline and puncutuality which helped in our life

Dislikes

the washroom of boys were not good and clean and were small and not proper outlets were there
the campus was so small compared as we couldn't explore them
the college didn't had dedicated parking and we had to buy parking pass every month

the curriculum was mix of both outdated and updated somethings the curriculum need to be updated according to today's world it will help in beginner level. Add latest subjects for students to learn.teaching method could be improved with practical knowledge and learning them how things are done. the exam are conducted semester wise and CCE are taken according to teachers when they want

The campus is quite good and friendly for students
You don't have to go on regular basis and teachers are also good
The faculties are so friendly and solves your doubt whenever you want

Campus is too short and time schedule may change everytime
The exams are held too late and delayed in results
The results are delayed and errors were not solved annd takes too time

In the first year you'll study the following subjects - C,C++ programming -OS -Computer architecture -Mathematics - PD and foundation In the second year - java programming - Dbms - Computer networking - E commerce/ Digital marketing and foundation In the third year - python programming - My sql - Cloud computing - CG and foundation Overall it is a damn good course to persue if you want to build your career in tech

Easy for those who are preparing for other competitive exams

Remarks:

Good thing is if you're preparing for some competitive exam along with your degree this is the best choice since there is no attendance problem. You can join any coaching class a/c to your timingsYou just need to come to the college at the time of practicals, midsems and endsems. Good or bad that is it. But if you're a very concept oriented towards your UG/PG you'll regret taking admission in this college for a longer time.There are no placements provided, no internship offers. Just that rushy job fair that more looks like a city fair where anybody can come and sit at any company's cell at register themselves even boys.
