Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose this couse becuase I want become a software engineer, and that time it is a booming course. In curriculum we need to participate in some academic events like college events, workshop and talk with some industry expertes. I suggest they have to improve their teaching method use using real word problems, demo videos.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee Structure and Scholarship Details for the CSE course at Malnad College of Engineering, Hassan I graduated in Computer Science and Engineering(CSE) from Malnad College of Engineering(MCE), Hassan. It is an "Unaided Program"; hence the fee structure is different. THe entire fee for a year in MCE is Rs65,00. The same would be divided into two heads. 1. Govt Fee; Rs 4,300 pae annum, which is same for all students. 2. Tuition Fee; Rs 61,250 a year, it covers faculty cost and infrastructure charges. Apart from these, each student has to pay a 'corpus amount' of Rs 18,000 annually, which consists of examination fee and administrative charges, Additional Fees and Absence Fine Students with Supplymentary subjects or attendence shortages have to pay extra fees, which are as follows: Registration Fee: Rs 750 for all subjects. Course CIE Fee: Rs 1000 per subject. Examination Fee: Rs 1,100 per semester Attendence Shortage Fee: Rs 2,000 per subject. The "SSP Scholarship" offered full tuition fees of Rs61,250 per year. So, with the scholarship, I paid only Rs22,300 per year, including the government fee and corpus amount. SSP is eligible based on family income, cast category. It has to be applied in time through the official portal. The base cost of yhe course over four years is about Rs 3,34,200 excluding supplementary or shortage fees. The SSP Scholarship greatly reduced my financial burden and allowed me to focus more on academics. The college ensures transparent fee structures and provision for financial aids to maintain the quality of education and ensure deserving students recive such opportunities. Such scholarship as SSP relieve some pressure, which actually makes CSE a very suitable course for students interested in being engineers.

Campus Life

4

In our college we have many clubs. Each clubs have different perspective like cultural, technical, and environmental. Every club held the programs in alternative monts. In our college we performe college fest like Malnad Fest, Jamboori and Arohana. Every year we conduct sports day, in that program participeted by evey branch.

Admission

I applid this college only and in 1st round of selection process I got selected to this college for CSE course. I took admission in this college because it is one of reputed college and many of my seniors are there in this college. I did't applied for many colleges In admission process they have managent process, K-CET process. In K-CET process they provide some of cut-off for the students.

Faculty

4

The interaction of student and faculty is good, if we have any doutes they will helps to clarify the doutes and they explain in easy methode, to make sure we understad the concepts. My faviourete faculties are shruti Mam, shobha Mam, and Harshita Mam. For all exams they prepare 3 set question paper and 1 question paper from outside of college. It depends on the subjects, if we have some subjects question easy and some of difficult.

Night Life

4

In our college we don't have any night life, because college will close at 6 pm. But for hostel students, gate closing time for them is 7:30 pm for girls and 10 pm for boys. Gym is their but only for boys. Library and public areas also close at 6 pm. My favourete hang place is echo park and it is coolest place in our entire college. Outside the college is good and locality also safe.

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
