Likes
- The college has well maintained, well-equipped laboratory, automated library system, and lots of books. Hostel facilities are quite good at this college, and they provide quality food.
- Top recruiting companies include Mercedes Benz, Bosch, Accenture, Soorya, Persistent and TCS. Pretty good, very good companies will come to pick us, our faculty members also encourage us to learn about new things which will help us in placement time
- As I said earlier, the faculty members are very good, and we have the most experienced faculty members mainly in mechanical, CS, and other departments. Most lovable and favourite part of our college is club events, fests and sports.
Dislikes
- I heard many complaints that the food provided in the hostel is not good
- Sometimes students with more skills miss the placements because they are not able to score the minimum marks the companies asked for.
- Now coming to semester exams, exams are tough and if you study well then only you can pass your exams.

Fees and Financial Aid
* MCE - Malnad College of Engineering admission is entrance and merit based. It offers UG and PG courses in numerous specialisations.MCE is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University. * MCE - Malnad College of Engineering fees: The total tuition fee for UG courses in INR 1,63,440 - 10,45,908. The overall fee includes various components, such as tuition fee,caution deposit, exam fee, etc. * As I get through KCET. I paid government fee as INR 65,550 and corpus fund as INR 18000 total fee is INR 83550 for 1st year and continued with the same fee for 4 years also I applied for SSP scholarship. * I am getting INR 18000 as SSP scholarship in each year * For my batchmate as she got admitted in aided branche the government fee is INR 22000 and corpus fund as INR 18000 * Deserving students can avail of several scholarships awarded by the goverment of karnataka Post Merit Scholarship to SC/ST Fee-reimbursements to SC/ST Fee- a concession to Category-1,2A,3A,3B and GM Extra boarding and logding allowance to category-1,2A,3A,3B and GM Defence scholarship Minority scholarship and so on
Campus Life
* Malnad and Jamboree being the cultural fests, and Enigma being the state level technical fest. * The college has well maintained automated library system and lots of books. * The facilities and technological provisions is good within the classrooms with provided smart tv boards in each classes. * Many sports event being district level state level will be held in our college along with the cultural acivities. * Many of them have selected and went out as best out going students in sports and clubs which it impact in a very bright way in their life.
Admission
* I applied many colleges in the option entry based on KCET I got shortlisted in this college as I discuss with my family members they all told that I got one of the best college so I didnt wait for the 2nd round or 3rd round. In the 1st round I got admitted to this college. * I didnt get any rejection from any colleges. * Once we got shortlisted in option entry the will release certain dates for document verifications once done with all these college will verify our documents and accounced respective dates according to that we should take all original documents to the college. * Eligibility criteria - 10+2 with 45% aggregate *Accepting Exams - COMEDK UGET, KCET.
Faculty
* The faculty-to-student ratio is approximately 18:1 well the faculty to student relationship is good they always encourage us learn new things which help us to gain extra knowledge. * I liked almost all my branches faculties like Naveen sir, Vanitha mam, Chaithra mam, Ramesh sir and many others why because they teach us with full fledge whenever we asked doubt they are ready to clear with the same energy. * I dont have any dislike faculties * There are 8 semeters in 4 years. Per year 2 semesters * Each semester one exams will be there exams are quite tough but we can manage if we study hard according to that. * There are students got failed in some subjects but this getting change according to students ability and all the course have blend with the specalisation.
Night Life
*Yes we have well-equipped gym area, spacial cafeterias, large library where library and cafeterias will be same as college timings as it closes at 5.30pm but the GYM will be according to students batch is opens at 5.30 shut out at approximately 9pm I guess. * Hostel and campus timings will from 8.30 am to 5.30pm but the college provied the students to come within 7pm to hostel students.
