Likes

Hostel facilities are good , problems are sorted out effectively.
Mess food is comparatively fine , edible.
Faculty is good , knowledgable and friendly.

Dislikes

Campus is very small. It is only a 50 acre campus.
The location is a little problem. Travelling by bus is hectic.
Alumni -Student connection is not so well established.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good. You get to have a rough knowledge of every skill you need in industry.The subjects are well defined and well structured.The frequency of the exams makes you study regularly which is a good thing.

Internships Opportunities

PS 2 are to be done after 4th sem in which you are given the options to choose the way of internship opportunities ...it might be a self or a thesis based or an internship provided by the college.PS2 is of 4 credits. Again internships are provided at 7th or 8th semester

Placement Experience

From 7th semester students are eligible for placements . Companies like deloitte,Kpmg,samsung etc including many startups too. Highest CSE package this year is 35-40 LPA and the average is 8LPA. This year due to layoffs only 50% were placed. But usually it goes to 65-75%

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly tution fees I am paying is 3 lakhs with a yearly hostel fees of 2 lakhs.At the time of admission there will be an extra amount you need to pay as 25k as registration fees and 25k as security deposit.Scholarships are given based on merit (jee , cuet etc score) and also defense and home state scholarships are provided.

Campus Life

The fests: Cultural: 67th Milestone and Melange The library is very good with a variety of ranges including fiction, novels, biography, subject books etc. The facilities within the classroom is good with projectors ,smart boards etc. Sports including cricket,football,badminton,lawn and table tennis,volleyball,kabaddi etc.

Hostel Facilities

Rooms are good spacious with single beds, cupboards ,Ac ,tables and chairs. The quality of food is good .Menu is diverse chosen by mess committee and hostel secretary. Hostels are fully equipped with wifis with a good connection and speed.

Hostel Fee: INR 200000 per year

Admission

The other colleges i applied were BITS ,THAPAR etc.I scored in bitsat but not enough to get CSE.THAPAR is expensive and heard about the intoxications. The admission process is through an exam conducted by the university or through jee or cuet etc.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is 1: 60 approx .They are very approachable. Some of the faculties which I like are Shakti Kundu, Saurabh Mishra, Kiran khatter etc. Exams are conducted as internals 60% and end sem 40%.

Night Life

The gym is good, library is beautiful, the food outlets are open till 4 AM. Campus in timing is 10 pm and hostel in timing is 1:30 Am. MPH,E2cafe,pond area,smoothie etc are crowded hangout places.The campus is fully safe to roam around .

Good Campus, Good Learning and Overall Experience

Likes

Good campus with a lot of greenery and a peaceful environment for students.
Teachers are mostly supportive and actical classes are helpful for understanding the subjects.
Good labs, library and sports facilities with many activities happening on campus.

Dislikes

Some administrative work takes more time than expected and can be a little confusing.
Hostel and mess facilities can be improved, especially in terms of food variety and quality
Sometimes the workload and attendance requirements feel a little stressful for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is quite relevant and covers the important basics of Biotechnology. We get both theory and practical classes which helps in understanding the subjects better. Exams are usually moderate. I think more industry based projects and practical exposure can make the course even better. Overall, I am satisfied with the curriculum.

I like Amity University Gurgaon because it is a good campus supportive faculty and modern facility
The University provides when you opportunity for learning activities and over all development
Overall I have a positive experience and enjoy being a part of this college

Dislikes

The workload and class timings can be some time hectic

Placement Experience:

Placements are available for final year and June and students generally become eligible from the 7th semester companies from it software and management sectors visit the campus placements opportunity at Decent with package wearing according to company and student scale I plan to build a strong technical skills so internship and projects and aim for a good job in aml field after graduation

I like Amity University Gurugram because of its good campus, supportive faculty, and modern facilities.
The university provides many opportunities for learning, activities, and overall development.
Overall, I have had a positive experience and enjoy being a part of the college.

Placements are available from the final year, and students generally become eligible from the 7th semester. Companies from IT, software and management sectors visit the campus. Placement opportunities are decent, with packages varying according to the company and student skills. I plan to build strong technical skills through internships and projects and aim for a good job in the AI/ML field after graduation.

My Experience in JC Bose University

Likes

I like the claim and composed environment, no one shouting or making noise
Each buliding have lift which help reach higher floor easily
Having strong alumni association which help student get placement

Dislikes

I don't like the paper work delay during the admission after paperwork
Campus less crowded places are not maintained very well
Older buliding classes don't have ac in the classroom

In Electrical course we have many kind have course which design for solving various kind of problem in field , BSC ( Basic science course ) , ESC ( Engineering Science Course ) , DSC ( Disciplinary specialized Course ) , VAC ( Value Added Course ). Professors teaches with real life example and use 3D shape and animation to explain things easily.

Likes

The college is spread across 300 acres of lush green campus with a lot of greenery everywhere. The weather is also very pleasant
The infrastructure of the college is well maintained with proper department and parks . The labs are well equipped with the necessary equipment required for the practical knowledge of the student.
Sports facilities are also top notch in the college and also gym is provided in the sports ground.

Dislikes

In rainy season water stands in the hostels making it difficult to move in and out of the hostel.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate of the college is decent one with average package of about 12-14 LPA amd about 85% students are placed every year. Students can apply for placements after 2nd year and companies like JP Morgan , microsoft, Hero , ICICI Bank , etc. Visit the college

Genuine and Biased review

Likes

Wifi facility is available in hostels and in some classrooms
Teachers are quite good and they are very helpful

Dislikes

Placement are not good in dcrust one some some students get placed with maximum packed of 9 lakhs minimum 2.5 lakhs
Course curriculum is not updated they are not helpful in modern time.
Girls and boys ratio are not upto the mark.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not good in my college. Only few companies are recruiting through on campus like virtusa, tcs etc. average package is 3-4 lakhs and maximum package is 9 lakhs. From 4th year students are eligible for on campus placement. Only 30-40% of students get placed. I am thinking to give gate exam for better opportunity.

Placement Experience:

Placement at college is average mostly 80% of students are placed in this college student is eligible for placement from the 7th semester. Companies like Airtel, Infosys, Wipro, and swiggy, mostly company visit here highest package in 2023 is approx. 28 LPA and the average package is 5-6 LPA.

Best affordable quality college for middle-class

Likes

Good and well-spaced campus of the college.
Good placements with high salary packages at reputed companies.
Good, affordable college for engineering, suitable for middle-class students.

Dislikes

Poor WiFi connection at times, when too many people use WiFi at the same time.
Generator works till 11pm only at normal days.
Hostel food needs improvement, lack of quality chefs.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.

Don't join the college as they doesn't care about your career Faculty is bad and also doesn't have minimum experience and qualifications Teachers will change every semester or even teachers can leave the job in mid semester. If want a good career then don't go for it

1. I chose this college over other colleges because of the authenticity in telling about the colloge. This colloge tells everything is authentic and true and not like other colleges who just show big big numbers and not give the authentic information about their college. 2. Less crowded college, but not the best college life and placements

I chose this college because the college is less crowded. There is almost about 500 students in cse batch which is very less than other pvt colleges. Also the location of the college is descent as it located not much far that gurgaon. So staying near a tech city helps in offcampus opportunities. Admission process of the college is pretty simple.
