Nice and Unbiased review of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Katra

Likes

College's weather is too pleasant and the air quality is also good
The environment is also very good and also the view is very nice
Seniors are very friendly in college and also the college has strict punishment for ragging.

Dislikes

The hostel food is not upto the level that a student expect.
The facility sometimes does not able to connect with Students
Hostels are very far away from the department and students have to move very far from the hostel

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is Average and the students are eligible in 7 semester for placement. If the student has any backlog in any of the semester they can't sit in the college placement and also it has minimum criteria of 6.5 cgpa. The percentage of students getting placement is very low sadly

Garbage college

I choose this colege because i failed in jEe exam and this prompted me to join it. I joined this college because it was local and i would be able to be as day scholar in the college. The admission process was quite difficult and they literally make hinged into the decision to apy admission fee in advance to have a security deposit if otherwise student later leaves the college and joins other institution they would make it look like a penalty and they withhold the priginal docs which you should never show them . Provide with voloured scans of certificates which look like original....Read More
