Course Curriculum Overview
The thing that attracted me towards Civil engineering was works done by Civil engineers eg Burj khalifa and Many towers around Noida as i live in Delhi and and used to travel Noida very often so that attracted me towards CS. One thing that i think needs to be updated is the curriculam of the subject needs to add some new techniques of Construction.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies were there but i could remember few there was TCS and Congnigent more were there but could not remember. During 3rd sem we were taken to a site for practical knowledge During my 7th semester I did a project with Kamladitya Constructions as and internship Programme and
Placement Experience
The placements were pretty good but that was mostly for Computer Science we got few companies Nonetheless we were satisfied with the efforts put by our Placement cordinator . But i choose something different and started my journey for Civil Services .
Fees and Financial Aid
Year wise fees was 90k and i got 75k less bacause of scholarship that i got in there . My batchmates used to pay 1.65lac yearly cause they didnt get any scholarship. Scholarship was on only students who has completed their diploma
Campus Life
Overall campus life was excellent we used to play some games in our free lectures and some feat were also organised during our course but as i was part of 2019-2022 batch few fest were affected by corona pendemic but in the end we all got a good farewell and enjoyed very much whatever days we were in our college.
Hostel Facilities
Overall the facility provided in hostel was pretty good the room was good and huge that i used to share with one of my friend and during winters we used to get hot water accessablity and The Meal was also good Menu was decided by all hostlers and we used to get food according to that decided Regestration process for hostel was very easy 36k was for 6month and 2 thousand as security that was refundable when leaving . In my final semesters i took a pg bed on rent and there also i was given food and all ameneties under 7000. The locality where i got PG was Farrukh nagar
Admission
Apparently i was selected for GGSIPU but due to some unfavourable circumstances i dropped GGSIPU and went For my college ie Dronacharya college of Engineering. And this college is excellent in terms of providing placements and all and i had heard of this college through my friend and collegues . They appreciated the infra of this college and Faculty and staffs behaviour.
Faculty
I cant remember the student to faculty ratio but with certain speculation i can say it was pretty good . I liked the teaching of our Surveying Faculty Mr Ravinder Faldakoti Sir There use to be 2 semester exams and 4 mid sessionals
Night Life
The night life was not that much extravagent but with certain believe i can say it was not bad also... There was a gym in closeby we used to spend our free times in ghe evening there was a library also that was accessable during ghe day time our hostel gates were used to be shut at 7:00 PM sharp. Nobody was allowed to go outside the campus after 7:00pm Our famous hangout spot was a local market that was nearby around 1-2 km from our college ie Farrukhnagar Market.
