Remarks

Positive- Excellent location , good curriculum , awesome campus. The 4 years down here will be the best 4 years of your life where you will study , make awesome friends visit awesome places and at the same time will get excellent job offers Negative -Politics , Strikes.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is excellent but at the same time to cope up with it you need to do a lot of hard work.

Internships Opportunities

My college does not provide any internship but yes the students do have an opportunity to go and carry out internships in various companies to get the required exposure. Many companies visit to pick up students for internship of a month or two.

Placement Experience

4

The placements are growing at a very large scale. Here if you are a decent student and you have all your papers cleared then you'll definitely get a dream offer(5+lpa) and even if you are a below par student and don't have supplies in more that 2 subjects , you can still get a decent offer.

College Events

4.5

The college life is full of events and our college is no exception. There will be one of the best Onam celebrations as cultural fest, we will have our own awesome tech fest called Dhisna and an art fest called Vipanchika. Many other small events like Scienza, science Week etc are carried out every month.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is extremely affordable as a government college should be. It is around 40k per semester for regular admission students which is very less when compared to the price that 4 years of CUSAT inculcates in you.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is nothing such as a loan facility in our college but the number of scholarships you can attain is way too much. The scholarship are sometimes based on your academic performances, sometimes on your economic status and sometimes both. You just have to sieze the opportunity.

Campus Life

3.5

The labs of the college are above average and the sports facility is also decent. The football and cricket teams of the college has brought glory to it many a times and even we have a sports quota entry to our college.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel availability is one of the only issues of the college where the number of hostels are slightly less so may be the students have to live in private hostels in the beginning 2 years after which they can be accommodated in the hostels. Once you are in the hostels are great and well maintained.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni meet is conducted every year where the seniors come and share their after college experience and even guide the students for their future. The alumini meet is generally done department wise and every branch has a network to communicate with the seniors (Obviously the ones who want to communicate)

Exam Structure

The exams are structured as internals and Externals. The internal marks are forwarded by the teachers that will be taking the respective subjects. It comprises of 40 marks which can be brought down as 10 marks of assignment,5 marks of attendance and 2 exams of 12.5 marks each. The externals are of 60 marks which may or may not be checked by the class teacher and it is randomly distributed among teachers to avoid biasness. You have to get atleast 45% in the externals and a 50% overall (Internals+Externals) to get a pass.

Admission

The admission process is through a Common admission test CUSAT -CAT. And according to your rank you will get admission in a desired branch and campus. Mostly if you have a rank under 3000 then only you stand a chance to get admitted on normal criteria.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty here may not be the best in the world but they will try their best to let you grow and know with the knowledge they have. They won't ever be biased and most of them have many years of experience backing them.

Placement Experience:

Placement are not the best. But EY , federal bank, TCS are some the prominent companies that are coming. The negative thing about placement is most of them are offering marking jobs. So if you are someone who is interested in operations this is not the collage you want to in.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

Placement Experience:

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
