Course Curriculum Overview
Coding during my shool days made to choose Computer science engineering and becoming a software developer was always my first priority. I was able to understand the comcepts better at my workplace though it was realtime application.
Placement Experience
People with nil arrears are provided with Campus placements during the final year i.e seventh semester. The companies like Cognizant, TCS, Changepond were the key companies during the campus placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
My college tuition fees was 52,000 rupees per year and we had recieved 12,000 rupees scholarship and totally we paid 40,000 tution fees every year to the sum of 4,00,000 rupees for the complete 4 years
Campus Life
Converita was the tech-fest which happens once a year and there will be hundreds of students from across colleges will participate for this symposium. There is a vast space for playground but unorganised
Admission
My Dad's friend suggested to prefer this college and I don't regret choosing Thangavelu Engineering college over any other college as the entire four years were my career/life changing moment personally and professionally
Faculty
50:1 is the faculty-to-student ratio. As i mentioned earlier, faculty members were very supportive and approachable for any queries even after the college hours. Susan was one of my favourite staff who made Data Structure course look so simple and helped learning it conceptually. There are 64 exams overall and almost 90% of us cleared all paper before the course completion
Night Life
The cafteria and public gathering areas are one of our favourite hangover spots, neat and wellmaintained. Since I'm a day scholar i won't be able to comment on the hostel campus and its timings as well
