The negative things are : 1 ) High fee structure for students who are admitted through COMDEK 2 ) We only have 1 Basketball court and 1 Tennis court , so we are not allowed to play when the official college team is practising. 3 ) The ground is a bit far from our college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our [ECE] curriculum is good but some changes need to be made (few concepts relating to the core subject must be taught deeply).Apart from this rest everything is good.We will be learning theory and doing the practical things at the same time so we can get a better picture of what we are learning.
Internships Opportunities
No , our clg don't provide any internships but few departments will offer courses.But after completing 3rd year we are asked to intern in any company and we also have credits for interning. We have to apply for internships and get it done.
Placement Experience
Our college has a very good record of placements. The highest package for the academic year 2018-19 is 40lakhs(per annum). Almost 80 o 85% of the students will be placed.Today, Ramaiah Institute of Technology is one of the preferred academic institutes for a large number of organizations for recruiting our graduates. The biggest names in the corporate world visit the campus on a regular basis, with enviable recruitment offers. Every year nearly 300+ companies will visit the college for recruitments.
Fee Structure And Facilities
If you are getting admission through KCET , it is 75000 per annum (excluding the hostel and mess facilities) Its feasible if you are getting admission through KCET. If you are willing to enter the college through COMEDK , I say that it is expensive , you have tonpay 2lakhs ( excluding the hostel and mess facilities).

Deserving students can avail several scholarships awarded by the Government of Karnataka. Campus Life
Our college has a Sports department and we have a basketball court , Cricket ground , tennis court , and we have indore games such as chess , carroms , table tennis. Our college basketball team ( both men and women ) won several competitons and we also have a good Cricket squad who won several times under VTU.We also have a good laboratories both of graduation and post graduation.Coming to extra curricular activities , our college have nearly 10-15 different groups like NSS(National service scheme), DEBSOC(Debating Society of RIT),Stier racing , Nature club,EDC,IEEE,QUORA Club,Code Msrit, Maths club etc where students can take part and enjoy a lot.
Exam Structure
M S Ramaiah Institute of Technology is an autonomous institute, affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum. The institute formulates academic curriculum as per the needs of the industry and new developments in the various fields. The examination for the autonomous courses is conducted by the Institute. The evaluation process is carried out in two stages. Continuous Internal Evaluation [CIE] during the progress of the semester and Semester End Examination [SEE] conducted at the end of the semester. The examination section conducts the Semester End Examination and the evaluation process in coordination with the departments.
Faculty
In any college/university there will be 1 or 2 faculty people who don't teach properly, rest of them will give their best. They are all talented and will explain us any number of times any concept without any feeling. Few faculty will also be funded for sme projects. They will also guide us in all the ways and they are friendly to us.
