Remarks

As my rank in KCET examination was approximately 32,000. I got this college and my rank was closing rank in ECE in our college. Getting this college at my rank is worth with good opportunities. Getting good rank can give you better colleges than this but this is not bad.

Course Curriculum Overview

The reason for me to choose Electronics and Communication was not getting Computer Science engineering. Electronics and Communication is not a bad course though. Electronics and Communication provides good package and with great percentage of placements

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 107495 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies like. Amazon, Google, Microsoft, TCS, Nokia, Toyota, Mahindra, Ultratech cement, Wipro, ANZ, Infosys, and many other provide placements and internships. For further information you can visit college website.

Placement Experience

Students from 6th Semester become eligible for placements. Getting good CGPA is necessary for eligibility for placements. 85 percentage eligible students from our course are placed every year. Highest package is 22 LPA for ECE and average package is 7 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have joined this college through KCET examination. My rank in KCET examination was more than 32,000. I have got this college in third and final round of counselling. Through counselling, our fees for all the categories was One lakh seventy five thousand and four hundred and ninety five rupees only (107495/-). For students who want to join through Management quota the fees is 25 lakhs approximately for 4 years of engineering course.

Campus Life

Many hackathons and ideathons take place in our college like Code Red, Anveshana etc. Our college also gives more importance to the sports and others extracurricular activities. College fest and Hostel fest are highlighted events in our college and many other cultural and technical events take place.

Faculty

In our college, each department has more than 5 professors. They follow 2022 marking scheme of VTU. 8 courses combine give 20 credits. And examinations are not so difficult and not so easy, They are mediocre. They provide notes and important questions for exams.

Night Life

One gym with sports room is available inside the campus and is free to use with Identity card. Two cafeterias are available. A big library is present. Opens at morning 8:30 am to night 9:30 pm. Famous hangout places are Cafeterias.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

A COLLEGE WITH PROMISED OPPORTUNITIES

I CHOSE BMS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT BECASUE THIS WAS AMONGST THE THREE OTHER COLLEGES I WANTED TO JOIN. ACCORDING TO MY RANKING KEA GAVE ME BMS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT. THE OTHER COLLEGES WERE RAMAIH INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND NITTE MEENAKSHI INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY. THESE THREE COLLEGES WERE IN MY TOP PRIORITY BECAUSE THESE WERE THE ONLY THREE COLLEGES WHICH WERE NEAR TO MY HOUSE DISTANCE WISE. I WANTED BMSCE AND RVCE TOO BUT THEY ARE VERY FAR AND I'LL BE REACHING HOME LATE. TALKING ABOUT THE ADMISION PROCES, IT WAS NOT MUCH OF A HASSLE, IT WAS A SMOOTH PROCESS WITHOUT ANY DIFFICULTY. FOR THE MANAGEMENT STUDENTS, YOU CAN REACH TO OUR ACADEMIC DEPARTMENT AND THEY WILL HELP YOU OUT IN EVERY WAY POSSIBLE. ALSO BMS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT IS A VERY PROFFESIONAL AND REPUTABLE TIER TWO COLLEGE, SO YEAH ME AND MY PARENTS ARE VERY HAPPY WITH THE COLLEGE. IF THERE IS SOMETHING I WOULD LIKE TO CHANGE IS, THERE IS NOT ENOUGH COMPETITONS WITHIN THE DEPARTMENT TO MOTIVATE THE STUDENTS, THERE SHOULD BE CASH PRIZE COMPETITONS AMONGTS THE STUDENTS IN THEIR OWN RESPECTIVE BRANCHES....Read More
