Course Curriculum Overview

On the curriculum aspects the faculties are very much supportive. They also work on the complition of the syllabus on time with quality output which helps the students and also initiates to solve the doubts

Internships Opportunities

There is the intership opportunity with the companies like infosys, TCL, tata limited, JSW, with the certain amount of stipend depending upon the performance of the students. The college helps the students to focus on the better currier.

Fees and Financial Aid

1st year tuition fees 54000, caution fees 2000, development fees 1000, lab fees 1000, exam fees 3000 .Same thing will repeat every year for management students. There is the scholarship called SSP of rupees 18000 for students

Campus Life

The college is located at beautiful atmosphere and it help in balance the mood of the students and also the college encourages the society activities through the clubs like eco club, Rotaract club etc which helps in motivating the students towards the development of the society. The infrastructure of the college is also good.

Hostel Facilities

The college has provided the quality rooms for the students in the hostel which is spacious and the room. The allottement is as the 3 students in a room . The quality of the food in the hostel mess is good and menu is prepared by the students choice.

Hostel Fee: INR 70000 per year

Admission

I first of all choosed this college because it is nearby to my home town compared to other colleges. Before i applied for other colleges then i switched my mind. Here the eligibility for the admission for the course is above 60%.

Faculty

The faculties are friendly with the students in solving the problems related studies and other extracurricular activities also encourages the students in academic to perform well. The exams are quite easy because of the quality education provided by the quality facilities make the students to clear the subjects .

Interview Experience

No i have not faced any group discussion also not faced any kind of interview so far still i am studying in 3rd year i will be facing in future semester and will be preparing with the help of the guide of the faculties

Night Life

The nightlife in the college is definitely safe there is the compound fencing around the college campus and also the high security is provided by the college they focus mainly on the safety of the students. They is the good gym facilities provided for the students to focus on their physical and mental fitness..

Likes

Making it compulsory to do projects from first year onwards and emphasizing on publishing papers which are good for longer run
Skill labs is fun and useful (in general for most branches)
No ragging, students are not discriminatory and are helpful

Dislikes

Though projects are good, at times it becomes difficult to manage so many at the same time
During CIE's, there are 2 exams on one day which makes it tough
Some teachers dont follow marks breakdown and give marks as they feel. Especially for lab manuals.. they dont check the manual and put random marks

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is a mix of both Computer Science and AIML which is increasingly relevant in today's world. Second year: Subjects like Mathematics for AIML, Data Structures, Stats for Data Science, Computer Networks, Third year: DBMS, ANN, ML operations Some other elevtives are also available and courses like Universal Human Values, POME, EIPR etc. Honestly, POME, EIPR, UHV should have less course credits and probably MCQ type exams (like IC and Yoga in first year). Curriculum is good and updating for applications helped along with projects. Exams are generally once in a month, 1.5 - 2 units for each subject each exam. Lab exams at the very end before CIE marks finalization. Then 2 weeks gap for Lab SEE, then 1 week gap and actual SEE's.

Likes

The approachable faculty, friendly peers and the freedom to explore were one of the few things I really appreciated about our college
Our campus life is all about us, how much we decide to explore and how much we decide to keep things to ourself
The placement services and the support provided are really useful because I belong to mechanical branch and the placement rate of mechanical branch is quite high, so Obv I really appreciate the effort from the placement office.

Dislikes

The building is dusty sometimes, and also the building doesn't have a lift.
Coming to the campus amenities, drinking water is not available.
Because I belong to 29th batch, our batch are the batch to face the new syllabus, so we don't have any previous year question paper, model question paper, so accademic pressure is high.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our course curriculum is very relevant for real life problems, it has a lot to do with application level knowledge, so our syllabus is very efficient for all engineering students, it gives us optimum knowledge and the right amount of liberty for us to explore our own interests besides our accademics.

My Honest Review of My College

Likes

The Opportunity for Sports is very Good as there are many games available.
Support for the new project ideas and building them
The environment is very Greenish and is beautiful in every season

Dislikes

The Curriculum is very hectic and also the students face issue in keeping up with curriculum.
Not All teachers are convincing, as some of them don't deliver the concepts correctly.
Washrooms usually don't have water in here, especially in the morning

Placement Experience:

- The students become eligible for placements from the 6th sem itself. - There are lot of companies ranging from Samsung to Infosis to TCS which provide a package ranging from 4LPA to 34LPA. - Highest Package (This year): 34LPA and Lowest is 4LPA. - Students placement stats: Around 80% students get placed - My plan is to get into a good Product Based Company after my degree.

RVITM - Everything you need to know before joining!

Likes

The lab equipment is good. The chemistry lab is well equipped and the other labs have all the software needed for a specific subject.
The library is really nice. It offers pretty much all the books you'll ever need to gain extra knowledge of your course.
The faculty and the crowd are good. Cannot speak for other branches but in my branch faculty is decent and the crowd is amazing.

Dislikes

The campus is small. One football/cricket ground and a tennis/basketball pitch is all that is there in the college.
The fests are boring. I have attended 3 fests so far and although it has its positives they were boring for the most part.
The placement scene is not the best. Most students join for placements and the companies that come have reduced from the previous years.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Personally, I was interested in ECE course since I liked working around chips and was intrigued by how they worked, which is what led me to choosing this course. The curriculum is not the best for real-world applications since the syllabus is pretty outdated. The teaching does involve smart boards and can be visual as well, but it can be utilized better by the professors. A semester lasts for around 5 months, with the last month only involving SEE (Semester End Examinations) and the first four months consisting of 2 CIE tests in the 2nd and 4th months. It also involves practical examinations.

KSIT has an average placement rate of 70%-85% depending on the branch . CSE,ISE and ECE branches have higher placements while mechanical and civil have fewer opportunities in IT sector . Average package is about 4-6LPA . KSIT attracts many IT based recruitiers with some core companies for non -IT branches . It also provides pre-placement training, coding boot cams, aptitude tests and soft skills development . Alumni network is moderate, but students need off-campus efforts for high paying jobs

It's a good environment in the college and spacious classrooms
There is no sort of ragging all the seniors are super friendly

No proper management for the events and attendance for the students taking part

Campus selections are available companies like TCS,wipro and many more come to our college do the campus selection the highest package was 1,25,000 and the lowest was 55,000 almost more than half of the students get placed during the campus selections and the rest by the end of the course get a job

From the 6th and 7th semester students are eligible gor campus placements. Students are asked to apply for the campus placements from the career development department of the college according to the marks. Some companies visited are like jspider, qspider, Xworkz, kodnest, Infosys, 3 q sutantra, toyota, triveni,idea infinity,edgeverve, eton ,dfm technology, tata elaxi, enventure and many more. And highest package in 8 to 12 LPA. The students are placed according to the companies requiments min 20 students are placed outof 50 students My plan is to get a good, high paying job after completing my graduation.

Probably nothing.. the only thing I enjoyyy is while traveling to clg and returning.

Dislikes

Very strict towards attendance... That too it's not 75% it's 85% !!!!
Few lectures are very boring and not at all useful
Labs are not at all useful ... More broken computer than working computers!

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course I adopted since I couldn't do my neet. In 2nd year I thought of taking CSE . I GOT MANY SEATS IN OTHER COLLEGES FOR OTHER COURCES. But I wanted to adopt only CSE based . I mean social or economical or design thinking and scientific foundation.. these courses are of no use while learning engineering so this might be the drawback . Exams are conducted very strictly in our clg and I appreciate that !
