Likes

The studying environment of my college is very good and the teachers are very co operative
the extracurricullar events in my college are very fun to be part of and are very well organized
the infrastructure of my college is very beautiful and very environment friendly

Dislikes

sometimes the workload in chitkara university is too much to handle and it can sometime be veryy hectic
the sports facilites in this college are not up to the mark and nobody pays much attention to it
the fees for the courses are a little too high for some students

the reason I joined this course in this college was because of the structure in which it is educated this curriculm prepares you really well for the real world experiences by conducting practicals and creating real world situation

In Chitkara university the Year Wise fees is rupees one lakh sixty four thousand and BE CSE Course is completed in 4 years For any Extracurricular activities which is happening in the college there is no fees however if it is an inter college event than the fees is required from the students based on the event demands in other courses like BCA the yearly fee structure is one Lakh four thousand

Campus Life

there are many annual fests like rangrezz that is held around november and and various fests that are held in 2 months gap in a year 'the libraries in this college is very good and very big so the accesibility to all the books is easy and all the latest books are availabe

Admission

i only apllied in chitkara university because i only wanted to join this college because of its educational environmnet and good placement opportunities that are being provided by the college that helps you build a good career and a good life

Faculty

the faculty to student ration in this university in 1:15 to 1:20 and the student teacher ratio in this college is very good the teacher i liked the most is heena wadhwa maam because she was very helpful while teaching she was good in solving problems and motivating the students to do well in life

Night Life

the gym facilites in this college is very good with all the latest equipments available. the opening time of gym is 9 am and closing is 6 pm the hostel timins are till 12 at night after that the student are not allowed to roam in campus the famous hangout places in the college are square 1 , alpha zone , square 2

PEC is great choice

Placement Experience:

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

In our college students need to have 6CGPA to still in campus placements and our college have a Club that overseas all the placement oppertunityies and the placement starts from 7th semester onwards when students starts there seventy semester the company's starts visiting campus for placement and internship opportunity as well

Saga of my life

Placement Experience:

Yes,very good college placements are available in our college.Students of 8 semester that is 4th year students are eligible for campus placement Companies such as TCS,wipro,amex,gemini solutions and etc many more companies are there for placement 60-80% students got placed in the companies with an average package of 8 lakhs and with a highest package of 35 lakhs Iam oriented towards govt jobs and in future if I will be interested in coding sector I will do preparation for off campus and specifically for Rubrik

Placement Experience:

Placement do occur in the college. It's average package is around 7.5, lakh. Since I am the first year right now, I don't have data to support the placement record, but some of my seniors of fourth year are getting placed. One of my IT senior got placed for 14 LPA and other other, my Cse senior got placed for around 12 LPA. so opportunities are there for those who want to do something

Nmims Chandigarh for btech review

Placement Experience:

We have avergae package of 12 lpa and 57lpa highest, i am not aware of how mqny placed. As such i have plan to get placed but if things didnt go out as planed then mba or mtech maybe. Our campus just opened recently so there is no much information but our placements are central that means, companies visting mumbai have to visit us too, and u can refer mumbai campus placement for our campus because its counted on central level and not varries campus to campus

Honest insider review - Chitkara University, Punjab

There was no such entrance exam sort of thing. they were just expecting a minimum percentage in the boards examination that too was very low to be honest. i didnt found such difficulty for the admission process as i had scored good marks in the 12th board. The application form was available on the official website of the university. The fees has been increased the last time i toook admission. It took 162,000 for 1 yr of college fees. No reservation benifits were availed by me being a GENERAL. Overall, the admission process was easy i found no diificulty. Although, they can improve the communication hrough the intermediater who accepted my form and took me thorugh the admission process. as it was online, i found some difficulty in communicating with themaslso havinng some misunderstandings with them.....Read More
