Course Curriculum Overview

4

If honestly I talk about my college curriculum or course curriculum then it's just a waste in terms of real world they just don't allow one to do practice under any seniors or to do internships as they want attendance and as I mentioned if attendance is short they gonna charge you fine . And if I talk about exam pattern it was same for all 5 years they use to conduct on the basis of of odd even that is odd semester exams in morning and even semesters exams in noon shift . And one can't leave the exam hall until their time duration of exam is not over whether someone completed his or her exam or not.

Fees and Financial Aid

In Babu Banarsi Das University the fee structure at that time was 70,000 (yearly) , which the students were supposed to pay either fully or semester wise . And there was a rebate to those students who scored more than 90% in 12th board exam they use to wgt 50% rebate in first year fees . There were scholarship to few categories based on reservation criteria and though only few candidates received at that time as many of my friends used to apply for it . And the time of addmission there were some extra charges (additional fees) along with tution fees . And now I believe the fees for the course has been increased upto 1lakh or something yearly basis.

Campus Life

4

There were no social groups or something like that but the college use to do some cultural events like DJ night Ganesh Puja and many others as well . There was some sports events but they govern and ruled by the seniors who already passed the college many years back. So we can say campus life was decent.

Admission

The reality is I just choose this college because of two reasons the one is distance and the other was my friends as they went to this college so did I. Admission process is not simple as well they involve necessary of hipe they take students to some cabin were some experts talk to you regarding your course. Admission process is simple one should have more than 60% marks in your boards that's the only criteria to get admission in it there no exams or counseling for University admissions.

Faculty

4

Faculty were educated highly and most of them were PHd holders or some were persuing at that very moment. Teachers ratio was 1:40 and 1 loop hole was there too as there were few teachers those were teaching two to three subjects which was not right as it doesn't met the standards of quality education as there should be one teacher for one subject. Exam was quite simple there used to be 2 exams that are semester wise after every six months. It was quite easy for everyone to clear as there were repeated questions from previous year. So it can be said tha every cleared their exam untill and unless someone caught or found cheating while exams , those students were supposed to repeat their year.

Night Life

2

College cafeteria was nice and really good with reasonable amount, and there gym but never heard whether any student ever joined it . Library was there that was too supportive as related to academics and exam preparations as well . Well If I talk about night life then it won't be safe to roam around as college is connected with a village and is on highway surrounding is also not to good .

As I'm studying BALLB and the teaching method in our college is pretty nice as they conduct field visits, courts visits and also invites different personalities who Excel in the law field that helps us to understand how the real world works in this field and I really thinks that this college should more focus on their class overall timings sometimes they got really lengthy every year our university conduct 2 exams separately for every semester. and the difficulty level depends on the students preps

If we talk about syllabus and subjects, it is quite good and relevant. We get subjects of social studies for getting an exposure to the societal and historical glimpse. On the other side students get an opportunity to study legal subjects to get a theoretical knowledge of legal world.
