Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is outdated, with a heavy focus on economics. While the structure is fine, it needs updates to match industry trends and add practical exposure for better relevance and comprehensiveness

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is around 48000 per year but student body fund is also around 40000 for placements and events. no scholarship as such is provided by the college . same fees for reserved as well as non reserved category

Campus Life

Campus life is vibrant, with clubs and committees organising events like garba night,alumni meets and aports tournament etc.The social scene is active but infrastructure needs improvement for better experience.

Admission

I chose this college over new IIMs/IITs due to its high ROI. Fees are much lower, while placements are similar. . The admission process includes several things like weightage of 10th,12th ,course diversity etc.

Faculty

Our faculty includes permanent and guest members, with a 40:1 ratio. They are supportuve and approachable. The semester systems has two terms per year , with exams , internal assessments , and projects for evaluation.

Night Life

Nightlife is decent with Satya Niketan nearby, offering cafes and hangout spots open late. On campus, the cafeteria serves great food , and the library provides a good space for study sessions even on weekends.

One of the strongest aspects of the institute is the faculty and the academic environment. Frequently members are generally experienced and approachable.
The teaching methodology includes case studies, presentation, group, assignments, group, discussions, projects, and practical assignments.
Another positive aspect is the exposure to corporate and professional life.

Placement Experience:

Lbsim has a structured campus placement process with participation from companies across sectors, such as consulting FMCG, IT/ITES , BFSI, marketing and operations. The institute provides students with placement preparation through aptitude test, mock interview interviews, group discussion, resume, building and corporate interaction.

course curriculum is relevant and mostly what the market wants in future and whats coming ahead for us. Python is taught as its going to be huge ahead and other things are also added. There is not much gap between mid term and end term as trimester are short.

We have well maintained library with more than 40000 books and documents, there are study cabins and all facilities required to have a productive day
There ample opportunites provided to students to amp up their game. The clubs and societies themselves take initiative to provide certifications to students, more than case comps are floated and students are encouraged to take part in them
The level of discipline and commitment expected of us is very similar to the other top MBA colleges, multiple assignments, deadlines, case submissions etc. The curriculum also requires students to make use of resources like Bloomberg and prowess.

Dislikes

The quality of cohort can be better. The quality is deteriorating from the senior batch to the juniors
Not being a residential insititute is a big challenge, as the load of work is the same as any residential insitute but most students also have additional buden of travelling which becomes very taxing in the long run.
There is some level of politics that goes on in student societies which can become toxic sometimes.

Placement Experience:

The college actively provides placement support, students are eligible for placements from the first trimester itself. Last year more than 150 companies took part in the placement process. The highest offer made was 24 LPA and the average was 12.32 LPA. 99% of the 2026-2028 batch got placed by April 2026.

LBSIM Delhi : An Institution with Value-driven Management with Elite Finance Infrastructure

Likes

Academic and Tech Facilities : Great Academic Rigor.
Faculty & Placement Strength : Faculty has vast industry experience. Corporate Relations are exceptionally strong.

Dislikes

Campus Size : In the heart of the country, a traditional open-air B-school experience is difficult.
Batch Intake : The intake for flagship PGDM course is high which causes high competition among students for summer internships and placements.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from the 4th trimester onwards. The placement rate is consistently nearby 100%. Prominent recruiters include Delloite, KPMG, Pwc, EY and market firms like Motilal Oswal, Oxane and ICICI Bank. The average domestic package stands comfortably around 12,40,000 and the top 10% of the batch secures close to over 16,00,000. Prominent roles offered include - Management Trainee, Financial Analyst and Consulting roles for finance students. My immediate plans after the degree is to secure a core placement in an Equity Research Role.

Likes

faculty is knowledgeable and is very well versed with the industy
this college is AACSB accredited. only 30 colleges in India have that
Learning resource center is amazing with a great variety of books

Dislikes

Campus size is small but competitors have a similar campus size
Sports facility is limited to TT, badminton court

MBA curriculum is well structured and covers the core areas of management including marketing, finance, operations, HR, analytics and AI. Courses are industry oriented, have a case based learning approach and institute's focus on practical management skills rather than only theoritical concepts.

seniors are very intreractive and they are very friendly

schedule is very tight and could not get time for self

The placements have been getting with every year. Last year, the highest package that any student from this college was able to achieve was about 24,00,000Rs. Students are eligible for the placements by the start of fourth or fifth semester
