CITECH Bangalore, BE, Electrical And Electronics Engineering

Remarks

Our branch teachers have extreme knowledge about the subject but they discriminate students that is the worst part of Cambridge institute of technology. No good facilities, drinking water is also not good Rest rooms are the worst. It's worst than the slum area

Course Curriculum Overview

I have taken the so called toughest course that is Electrical and electronics engineering. Currently our college is under vtu, and will shortly become autonomous. So right now we are having vtu board exams.

Placement Experience

Till 2018 it was good but now a new HR has been appointed and this is the worst HR about the placement. I am not sure about the internships whether they are providing it or not I'll confirm about it first then only I'll speak about it.

College Events

We have many intercollege events Sports day College fest for 2 days Named chiguru. May technical events are there Cultural events Independence Day Republic Day We even celebrate ayudha Pooja. and many more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive, it's very expensive on all things like college fees, bus fees, food, exam fees, HR fees, Wi-Fi fees, they even collect money for the maintains of the garden in our college which is the worst part

Fees and Financial Aid

We get scholarship from government and not from college. Our college is the worst college in this they won't give us the money which we have got from government also. They make us run here and there to give our money.

Campus Life

1.5

Labs and extra curricular activities are actually good. We have lot of time for lab and we will have extra classes also, if any of the students are uncomfortable with labs they will be having lot of time to practice.

Alumni/Alumna

Our super seniors where actually too good but our seniors are worst. But I am sure that we will be the best seniors for our juniors, in all the things. And our super seniors are the best. We will definitely follow them

Admission

Through cet we took long time to enquire about the college, since most of them suggested this college I joined. Good experience of being here. I would suggest my Juniors to join for a better education.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty in our college are good in there lecture but they discriminate against students that is the worst part of our college. Most of the teachers will speak with the students based on the dress they have worn.

Likes

Yes the first thing I liked is the campus and the environment there is no harrasment and strict action will be taken.
And second thing is faculty members are so helpful and they always help to students and different festival
And also the campus provide all facilities and make helps to sports and ration is almost equal of boys and girls

Dislikes

Yes some things are there which I disliked first is the campus is very strict and no function are organised yearly ones or twice is very sad thing as compared to other campus
Second thing is food students facing some problem with the food which hear prepared so outsiders facing lot of problems
Third is about hostel facility is good but very strict only once a week the students should go out side and write leave letter to go there native places.

Placement Experience:

Students got opportunity to eligible after 3rd year mainly in 7th semester students get opportunity for campus interview. In my college the company which came to hire is congizent and microsoft and amezon and dell nearly 80 to 90 company are came. The company offers is highest is 40 lack per annum which google provide and minimum is 4lack . Mainly 80 percent of the students are placed every year but due to war happened in the global impact in placement I want to do masters in abroad and then go to the company

Likes

very first thing i like in the college is the wifi network,
the library which is very peace and silent
average places to take photos and nearby there is nandi hills to visit

Dislikes

i dislike the distance of the college, its too large, should walk soo much
the cost of stationaries in the general store
i dont think so faculy are that much expertise , only countable people worth it

Course Curriculum Overview:

see i have choosed this course because it is very relatable to CSE, coz my ranking was not sufficient to get this course. the course which i took "Information Science and Engineering" is really a good course. they make us real world engineers. the area they shld actually improve is, hiring worthable faculty.

Insights of the Gopalan college of engineering and Management by a First Year Student

Likes

Canteen is fine has nice and tasty food and quite a lot of options
Library is also good has every book related to my course and few others as well
Lab facilities are also very nice and the college has a nice crowd

Dislikes

It's nothing like I expected, they don't let students use the ground or turfs. Facilities are pretty bad.
They charge money for everything and has zero facilities for college students. Everything is for there school students.
College is very small and the faculties are rude to students. (Mostly the case)

Placement Experience:

Student are eligible for placements from there 7th semester but I wouldn't recommend relying on college for placements. Not many companies come to this college so placements are really bad. If u have skills it would be better to apply to companies on your own. I don't have details on how many students gets placed but as much as I know it's about 30-50 % And average package is also very low. I plan of gaining skills and certification on my own and job hunting myself in 4th year through my connections and internships. Or maybe go abroad for masters As I'm a first year student I don't know much about which companies come and how much they offer.
