Remarks

It's a great college to be in which provides a hell of lot of opportunities if you want to put for placement but the research culture here is not that good and it is not encouraging at all so first decide in what way you want to shape your career and then out for this college

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is great here. The first year was filled with courses from all the branches. So in a sense, the first year was common for all of us. Then from the second year onwards, you are taught the subjects which are specific to your branch for EG, CSE was taught ds DBMS oop is in and all. In the second yr our subjects were ds DBMS a bee oop, I so the subjects were a merger from few of them being from CSE specific and rest few were there from others circuit branches also.

Placement Experience

4.5

The scenario for placement and intern is great here as most of the big companies which visit other bits also visit nit Warangal. I myself git the intern in a big fat paying company and got a PPO which is pre placement offer and not well placed even before the start of the fourth yr. That's the kind of opportunity this college provides. There are several Norma dream super dream comp here which provides a hell of lot of opportunities that you can get as compared to being in a private college.

College Events

2

There are majorly two types of events which are celebrated here. One of them is a tech fest called to and the other is a cultural fest called springspree. Me The tech fest is celebrated in the month of November whereas the cultural fest is celebrated in the month of February

Fee Structure And Facilities

As it's a government college so fee structure is pretty decent, my annual fee is 1.25 lakh which is to be paid in two instalments of one of them being 62500 and the other is also the same, no difference

Fees and Financial Aid

No, there are as such no loan facilities But the scholarship provided here are awesome, be it the merit scholarship which is provided here for the students who are among the top ten percent of all the students or other category scholarship

Campus Life

4.5

In the case of extracurricular activities, the facilities here are great. We have a basketball stadium a to court a football court and many other sports facilities plus the lab infra here is quite decent to say the least.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Hostel infrastructure is pretty decent here. I we have separate hostels for first second third fourth yrs and separate for boys and girls. We have one fan and one tube light, table, chair and bed in hostels

Alumni/Alumna

As this college was situated in the yr of 1959 so the alumni network here is quite decent but the senior junior interaction is not that good as they are put in separate hostels and also the there are a lot of restriction which are put which makes the life miserable here

Admission

There was an entrance exam named JEE ( Joint entrance exam ) conducted on a national level. A total of 13 lakh students participate in that, out of which only a few get selected the selection criteria was merit based and also rank based. In our college cutoff for various branches were ranging from 1000 to 40000 Where CSE was having the best cutoff and biotech was having the least. CSE was and still is the most preferred branch among students. So our admission procedure was done on joint seat allocation portal named J O S S A, I there based on your rank you will fill your preference in terms of branch and college and the one you get is the one you get admitted

Faculty

3.5

The faculties here are decent enough. Ds was taught by K R sir which is the best in the business of and D B M S was taught to by T R K Michelle sir who is also a decent faculty The faculties are good but there are some temporary faculty also which are also called the ad-hoc faculties they are not good and don't have much of a experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Placement cell is least active.. Few good companies like Infosys, amazon, TCS etc visited but the average package is of 1-2 LPA and only 25-30% of students whose all exams are cleared can sit in the placement cell. The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams

Campus placements do exist , and it really depends on the person not much on gpa the highest was 40lakhs per annum one time , the lowest was 3lakhs , it really varies time to time but nowadays with advancment in AI and more competition placements aren't really guaranteed
