What Students Say

Likes

I like the atmosphere of the college as there is no pollutions
I like the faculties behaviour which is very friendly towards students
No pressure of studies and no pressure of maintaining 100 percent attendance as only 75 percent needed

Dislikes

Located inner to bus stand which makes to walk
Watchmans are preferrably very rude towards all
Not updated labs for todays need of the students

Course Curriculum Overview

Actually its good when compared to other colleges as they are offering students to study peacefully. Here the college sometimes pressurizes study at unwanted times. Also sometimes are complicated to students.

Class Size: 130Course Fees: INR 82000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Our college offers intern like in lab interns which practices our students with leading softwares like solidworks, ansys, etc..,.This helps our students improving their skills, and later also helps in their placements.

Placement Experience

Our 2025 passed out batch ofdered 92 percent placements and many got placed in higher rated companies. Some are also placed in small companies for low salary but all got packages based on their skills and needs

Fees and Financial Aid

I joined as a mechanical engineering student through the merit management process in 2022.Per year i pay 1,65,000 at each year starting.Fees has marginally increased over for recent batches. It is located in madurai and transport facilities are frequently available.Since it is licated inner to the thiruparragundram,we shouls walk in for a kilometer after boarding in bus.Reservation seats are offered through counselling and also it is a government aided college.

Campus Life

This college offers many clubs based on studies and extra curricular. But here there is no culturals due to some issue in college, and you cannot expect any fun events here but there is no logical reason behind it

Admission

Actually in southern region,i consider tce is one of the best colleges,Also madurai is my native and i preffered to complete ug here in a reputed institution and tce was only one of them in our region.

Faculty

Here CO methods are followed for exam and study pattern and very good for learning and gaining knowledge. Here some faculties are ready to help for students anytime for their need regarding their future works or projects.

Night Life

The college is surrounded by thiruparangundram lord murgan temple and dense forest,so it offers a nature look and green scenario.Night walkout even gives a fresh vibe and even stores in hostel available at nights.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

Likes

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

They focus heavily on communication , technical knowledge and competitive preparation ,align students with what top companies expect ,and contiuosly push us to improve and meet industry standards. Their structured training helped me to clearly identify my strengths and work on my weak areas, which made a huge difference during interviews and boosted my overall confidence. If we avail of the reserved seats, the educational course fee will be reduced based on our reserved quota (for me, OBC). Only we would have to spend more money on college hostel facilities if you are going to avail the hostel facilities....Read More
