Course Curriculum Overview

3

The Curriculum focuses on strong basics and fundamentals which are very essential. In 3rd year it should be more industry focused as what exact skills are required and how are they aligning with the interests of the students. Exams and their frequency is pretty decent, one mid term exam, internal assesment and then the final end semester exams. Overall the curriculum is fine

Internships Opportunities

4

Internship opportunities are less offered by college however it supports external internship opportunities we get. Barclays, JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs offer internships in the college right from 3rd year

Placement Experience

3

Placements are pretty decent. Most of them are in Software Development and Data analytics. The package offered ranges from 5-25 LPA in this field. Most of them are multinational companies Core companies are less and offer packages upto 4-10 LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

When I took admission the tuition fees and all the extra fees were a total of 3,75,000 per year. Also scholarships were provided post first year of college like the Blue Star Scholarship to deserving students

Campus Life

5

The college is filled with social activities and clubs. There are both technical and non technical groups of clubs like Robocon, ISTE , CSI, Codecell as the technical clubs and BloomBox, Insignia, Octavium, Gyrations as the socio-art clubs and e cells. One can expect overall managerial skills and technical development if enrolled in any of these

Admission

I chose this college over VESIT Mumbai due to its advanced infrastructure and all the facilities within my department. Also the location is in Vidyavihar which is prime location with respect to Central Railway line commutation

Faculty

3

Faculty members are all with the Masters degree and some of them are pursuing a PhD. They teach opd syllabus which is outdated They should grant access to new age tools like Cadence....for my branch Some of the faculties like Prof.Inderjit Singh Sir were very helpful and took lot of efforts to teach us difficult subjects like VLSI design. Exams are not that difficult....one can easily score well if studied sincerely. The faculty student ratio was pretty decent for our branch like 1 teacher per 50 students.

Interview Experience

3

No i did not...I have opted for Higher Education in my field In the same of Semiconductors and VLSI, MS , abroad. Preparations can be done woth self study or maybe approaching college placement cell for some inputs

Night Life

5

There are a lot of cafeterias outside the college campus including street foods like frankie, sandwiches, Chinese, desserts, etc. Also there is Sports academy within the college itself well equipped with all the facilities like gym, swimming pool, badminton courts, gymnastics and many more. I didn't live in hostel so I am unaware of the exact timings and details of it. The Maggie point and engineering canteen with chess garden are some of the most famous spots to hang out in the campus

Companies started sending their placements form to college groups from starting of the 7th semester. For particular branches, particular companies visited. Many companies send their placement forms this year. But each selected a max of 2-3 candidates only. In the strength of 76, 15 got placed on campus this year. Remarks:

Focusing on student's attendence rather than focusing on students concepts. College is not focusing in development of students only paperwork is done. No conceptul teaching nor practical. By doing this stuff we can get a btech degree but not the knowledge a btech student should have.
