Remarks

College culture is very good students and teachers alike are good but the fees is exorbitant and when you don’t get placed in the end it feels like the college duped you of your money. The workload on teachers is also very high so they don’t get much time to spend on a particular class.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course curriculum was a mix of technical subjects, laboratory work, foreign language, behavioral science and professional mannerisms and etiquettes. Every semester had an end semester examination and the passing criteria for the year was the cumulative marks in both the semester in a year.

Placement Experience

1

Placements of the core engineering subjects like civil, mechanical, electrical are bleak only student of my class got placed. Placement situation in amity is not good in-spite of them claiming 100% placement. College does not provide internships you have to arrange your own internship and stipend varies from place to place.

College Events

4

Sangathan : It is an sports meet held every August and teams from various different amity universities compete. Amity Youth Festival: It is an annual college festival held in February where various events are organized by the students and communities and on the last day there is a celebrity night.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is expensive. Per semester you have to shell at least 1 lakh rupees and if you are a sponsored student then you have to shell minimum 2 lakhs per semester. This amount is not feasible for a middle class family.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is scholarship on the basis of merit every semester. Students who score the highest marks each semester in the class are given scholarships in the form of fees waivers. Loan facility is not available with college for loan you have to arrange something for yourself.

Campus Life

4.5

Extracurricular activities are very good there are clubs, communities where you can enroll and be a part of the activity performed by them. The lab infrastructure is very good labs are modern with latest equipments and the lab assistant and lab staff is very well versed. Sports is an integral part of college culture and there are myriad sports which you can play there.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is not good and pretty much non existent but the seniors are good and helpful there is no ragging culture in college and whenever there is a need of help you can go to any senior and he/she will help you happily.

Admission

I applied for the course online and on the basis of my 12th percentage I got a direct call for interview. The interview was held in Noida Campus but before the interview we had to a give 2 tests one was about testing our analytical skills and one was a general test after the test I was called for an interview seeing my score and merit I passed the interview with flying colors and instantly got an admit.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty was very well versed but sometimes I think due to their workload they didn’t give enough attention but if you persuade them to help you they’ll definitely help you out. Some faculties were brilliant and had in-depth knowledge of the subject and how to explain and teach students in a way that they can get their hands on the subjects easily but some faculties were just there to teach because it’s their job and then go away as soon as the time is up.

Placement Experience:

Placements are both on and off-campus based. Placements are usually common for both IT and Non-IT students, Technical or Non-Technical. Students become eligible, in their final years to pursue internships or acquire placements. Usually students from Computer Science and Engineering avail more placement opportunities. The Medical Department have more options of Employability. Companies like HCL, Byju's, Extramarks, IBM and other local companies like Stambh Power Systems, Pieinfocomm and others have arrived. But the placement ratio needs to be increased. Off-Campus Placements are more successful. Highest Package can be 8lpa CTC to average package be 2.5lpa CTC, with profiles of assistance and associates. Atleast 30% students get placed on average. My plans are based on Learning in different ways.
