- The Teachers in the college are easily accessible and very helpful. You can contact them anytime online or offline for any academic related queries.
- The campus is totally ragging free. Seniors are very casual and of friendly nature.
- Faculties are well qualified but you will study during exam from youtube only.
Dislikes
- College Infrastructure is not that good. it has two buildings on a highway which are around 700-800m apart.
- The college does not have so much of competitive coding environment.
- You will receive placement or internship opportunities only during 4th year.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is mostly theory based. You have to learn from other resources to cope up yourself for placements. The subjects which you will study will be mostly theory and of easy level. You need to constantly be aware of latest technologies and learn by yourself. There are four mid terms(CA1, CA2, CA3, CA4) exam taken and a final semester exam and two mid term practical exams(PCA1, PCA2) and a final practical exam for each sem.
Placement Experience
The students of 4th year are eligble for placements. Companies like TCS, capgemini, LTI mindtree have visited last year for campus placement. I ont have any official data about placdments but afer talking with seniors i can say that usually average package is of around 4 Lakhs Per Annum.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am from 2022 - 2026 batch my fees is total 4,51,500. Aditional 5000 was for college dress and bagpack. Per semester Examination fees is 1200. Rest no any additional cost is taken by college. As per my knowledge every year for freshers fees is incread by around 30,000 - 40,000(Approx). For students who have West Bengal Domicile are eligible for SVCM scholarship of 60,000 per year provided by WB government. THe scholarship is revoked if the student gets a single backlog.
Campus Life
College mainly organizes two fest one is annual fest (contains annual and cultural fest) and another one is organised for freshers. Library provides your course Book. Annually cricket tournament, indoor games like carrom and table tennis tournaments are organised. The college have very few clubs.
Admission
I took admission in this college on the basis of my jee mains exam. This college does not require very high rank for admission. The college takes admission from WBJEE exam and JEE MAins exam. My admission process was as per the rules stated during counselling. I did not faced much of a problem in that.
Faculty
This is a small college so there are less students and faculty-to-student ratio is quiet decent. All faculties are easily approachable and accessible. The college is under MAKAUT and follows MAKAUT curriculum. The difficulty level of semester exam is easy to moderate.
Night Life
There is no gym facility in college. It has a canteen where you will find something to fill your stomach. There is no hostel of college. people reside in PG's near college or they rent out flats. There is no hangout place inside college. there is only one public ground near college
