The curriculum is very interesting and the subjects that are taught are very vital and and important for your coming professional life. The curriculum actually prepares you for the real-world applications and the curriculum is actually very relevant to the modern world.
Internships Opportunities
Our career opportunity fell works very hard to provide the students with various internship opportunities in many diverse fields all year round and most do the students avail them and take advantage of the opportunities presented to them.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placement from the 5th semester and many notable companies visit our campus for the placements and many students get offers and I think the highest may be around 5-6L and the lowest around 2-3L.
Fees and Financial Aid
There's only one time tuition fees that's Rs.21200 and that's the same for everyone and there is no other fees other than this. We have so many different scholarships and financials aids given to students such as Gandhi Study Circle Financial Aid, etc and various scholarships such as Shri Autar Krishna Scholarship, Dr. Sharda Jain Scholarship, etc.
Campus Life
Our annual event - Symphony is usually held in the beginning of February but other than that most of the college societies have their annual events throughout the college year though mostly during March-April. We have a very vast library with latest books and journals at our disposal. Classrooms are equipped with smart boards and we have many labs. We have more than 20+ societies and various sports teams as well.
Admission
Janki Devi Memorial College is a very good and respectful college and is infamous for its excellent faculty and also the good infrastructure. This is a girl's college so it's extremely safe for girls and it gives girls the opportunity to flourish without being oppressed by anyone. You get more opportunities here than you would get in a coed college.
Faculty
The faculty members of all the departments are very good and very welcoming and so knowledgeable. The CA - Class Assessments and IA - Internal Assessments system is very helpful to the students as they get multiple opportunities to get marks. Exams are mainly conducted only once every semester so very easily students can prepare for them.
Night Life
Our in college Nescafé is quite famous for its coffee, maggi and fries but other than that the Mother Dairy is a vital for students for milk products such as Ice Cream or Chaach or Milkshakes, chips, etc. We also have a training ground for NCC which is equipped with necessary equipments. Other than that the Karol Bagh Metro station is very nearby with many attractions.
