Likes

Campus life as it university as friendly environment. Full proofed with AC and Smartboard
Canteend food is the best due to its taste and it got many varitied as well.
Faculty is supportive as they are well experienced and well qualified in theri respective domains.

Dislikes

Transport system should be improved as it got less number of bus.
Area around university within 1 km of range is not fully developed.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum i chose is very trending and it got high demand and value in the future as it is Aritificial Intelligence generation . More use of smartboards can be done to improve teaching methods. The frequency and timings of exams are well structured and planned in the best view for students.

Internships Opportunities

University invited many companies for intership offers. I have no idea about stipend as i am not aware about that till now as i am new. Projects that are grouped builed with good use of technology and brain are standed out.

Placement Experience

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Tcs , wipro , infosys are the companies visited and good number of offers made 90 percent students got placed. My plans wil be getting an masters degree after this degree

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fee of Btech Computer science (Data science & Artificial Intelligence) is ?1,50,000. Scholarship is done on the basis of the percentage scored by the student in his/her 12th board exam. Like 5 percent discount if scored more than 75 percent. 10 percent if scored more than 80 percent . 15 to 20 percent if scored more than 85 percent and if scored above 90 percent as revised by university

Campus Life

Many clubs are there and a good number of events are organised every month as revised and planned by university. The range and accessibility of books are wide and easily available . Classrooms are well equipped with smartboards and labs are fully technological domained. Sports has got an extra edge in this university as it covers all sports and conducts many sports events. Student portal is accessible where you got all information about you your course , attendance, events and results

Admission

I applied for Lovely Professional University, Kr mangalam University and got confirmed admission. I didnt chose them for the one common reason that is that they are overcrowded. I applied for vellore institute of technology but rejected due to less score in their competitive exam. Simple and easy process of admission as it is merit based and requires only 12th board examination. No cutoff and my admission process experience was good

Faculty

The faculty is supportive, they are well experienced and well qualified in their respective domains. They are easily approachable. All the SOET faculties are best. There are 3 exams per semester that are sessional 1, sessional 2 and end term exams. Sessional exams are of 40 marks and are easy and curriculum oriented and generally all students pass it. End term exams are of 80 marks which is curriculum oriented and 95 percent students pass it.

Night Life

Gym is only accessible to hostel students. Cafeteria is good and its food does taste very well and it has very varities like chinese south indian and north indian and snacks of all types as well. Hangout places are sports room , football grounds. Campus in timings are 8 am to 4.35 pm. Yes it is safe to roam around at night.

Good Campus, Good Learning and Overall Experience

Likes

Good campus with a lot of greenery and a peaceful environment for students.
Teachers are mostly supportive and actical classes are helpful for understanding the subjects.
Good labs, library and sports facilities with many activities happening on campus.

Dislikes

Some administrative work takes more time than expected and can be a little confusing.
Hostel and mess facilities can be improved, especially in terms of food variety and quality
Sometimes the workload and attendance requirements feel a little stressful for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is quite relevant and covers the important basics of Biotechnology. We get both theory and practical classes which helps in understanding the subjects better. Exams are usually moderate. I think more industry based projects and practical exposure can make the course even better. Overall, I am satisfied with the curriculum.

The University provides when you opportunity for learning activities and over all development
Overall I have a positive experience and enjoy being a part of this college

Placements are available for final year and June and students generally become eligible from the 7th semester companies from it software and management sectors visit the campus placements opportunity at Decent with package wearing according to company and student scale I plan to build a strong technical skills so internship and projects and aim for a good job in aml field after graduation

Placement opportunities are decent, with packages varying according to the company and student skills. I plan to build strong technical skills through internships and projects and aim for a good job in the AI/ML field after graduation.

My Experience in JC Bose University

Likes

I like the claim and composed environment, no one shouting or making noise
Each buliding have lift which help reach higher floor easily
Having strong alumni association which help student get placement

Dislikes

I don't like the paper work delay during the admission after paperwork
Campus less crowded places are not maintained very well
Older buliding classes don't have ac in the classroom

In Electrical course we have many kind have course which design for solving various kind of problem in field , BSC ( Basic science course ) , ESC ( Engineering Science Course ) , DSC ( Disciplinary specialized Course ) , VAC ( Value Added Course ). Professors teaches with real life example and use 3D shape and animation to explain things easily.

The college is spread across 300 acres of lush green campus with a lot of greenery everywhere. The weather is also very pleasant
The infrastructure of the college is well maintained with proper department and parks . The labs are well equipped with the necessary equipment required for the practical knowledge of the student.
Sports facilities are also top notch in the college and also gym is provided in the sports ground.

Dislikes

In rainy season water stands in the hostels making it difficult to move in and out of the hostel.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate of the college is decent one with average package of about 12-14 LPA amd about 85% students are placed every year. Students can apply for placements after 2nd year and companies like JP Morgan , microsoft, Hero , ICICI Bank , etc. Visit the college

Genuine and Biased review

Likes

Wifi facility is available in hostels and in some classrooms
Teachers are quite good and they are very helpful

Dislikes

Placement are not good in dcrust one some some students get placed with maximum packed of 9 lakhs minimum 2.5 lakhs
Course curriculum is not updated they are not helpful in modern time.
Girls and boys ratio are not upto the mark.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not good in my college. Only few companies are recruiting through on campus like virtusa, tcs etc. average package is 3-4 lakhs and maximum package is 9 lakhs. From 4th year students are eligible for on campus placement. Only 30-40% of students get placed. I am thinking to give gate exam for better opportunity.

Placement at college is average mostly 80% of students are placed in this college student is eligible for placement from the 7th semester. Companies like Airtel, Infosys, Wipro, and swiggy, mostly company visit here highest package in 2023 is approx. 28 LPA and the average package is 5-6 LPA.

Best affordable quality college for middle-class

Likes

Good and well-spaced campus of the college.
Good placements with high salary packages at reputed companies.
Good, affordable college for engineering, suitable for middle-class students.

Dislikes

Poor WiFi connection at times, when too many people use WiFi at the same time.
Generator works till 11pm only at normal days.
Hostel food needs improvement, lack of quality chefs.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.

Don't join the college as they doesn't care about your career Faculty is bad and also doesn't have minimum experience and qualifications Teachers will change every semester or even teachers can leave the job in mid semester. If want a good career then don't go for it
