Course Curriculum Overview
It is fairly relevant.the ciriculum is somewhat updated and it is applicable in real life industry.the exams are two the mid sem and the end sem with the timings to be declared accordingly by the college.cse has a stong core focus
Internships Opportunities
It offers internship in the 5th and 6th semester in the summer vacation.you can do the internship kiit brings companies and they ask the students to fill the google docs the stipend depends on the company but it is generally good.co.panies like dell comes.
Placement Experience
Placements start feom 7th sem with companies like wipro dell micro soft adove has came.the college also gives internship.the highest package went was 50 lacks and the average package is around 8 to 10 lakhs
Fees and Financial Aid
First year:4.50 lakhs with one time fees of 75000 which you will get a laptop too Second year: you will have to give registration and exam fees of 10000. Following 2 years are the same with 4.52 lakhs per year and exam fees.there is kiit financial aid and scholorahip discounts through merit and you have to maintain a good cgpa if you want your scholorahip not removed.it is a private university and doesnt give caste based fee discount.
Campus Life
Campus life is quite lively.there is kiit feat and lota of fladh mobs held ocasionally in the campus.the library is very big and centralised.there are lots of sports center and gaming center with clubs or gym
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is very good with privacy and good ac and clean room with a cleaner who comes every day for cleaning and proper table and desk with a washroom.the hostel has lifts but the mess is not great it is not so good
Admission
I chose kiit because of placement and it was better than srm and vit it seemed at that time.i couldnt get to nit.elegibility is through a exam calles kiteee which is fairly easy and the college requirement is just 60 percent in boards
Faculty
Faculty student ratio is around 1 isto 20.the teachera of the college is supportive and approachable.i liked bindu agarwals faculty.exams are held with a mid sem a end sem and internal continous evaluation throughout the year you will be evaluated
Night Life
Gym is open till 8 or 9 in the night and library is open 24 7 any time you can go to study there by taking permission and a slip from the hostel.the hostel intime varies according to the year but it is around 10.the hangout spots are flamingo or bottles or oopre.
