IIIT Bhubaneswar, B Tech

Remarks

This in one of the best colleges in Bhubaneswar. Since the number of students are less i.e nearly 300 students per batch. Thus the teacher student ratio is very good. Even the faculty members are helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview

As it is a autonomous college, the syllabus are updated as much as required. Every semester there will be two exams ,mid sem and end sem,mid sem will have only theory and end sem will have both practical and theory exam.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement of college is quite good. The placement cell takes exam of apptitude, coding etc to prepare you for interview. College provides internship but the stipends varies from one another. Even every student does not get it.

College Events

4.5

The main event of the college is held in January. Its none other than than Anual fest (Advaita). It goes on for more than 4 days and every times of events are organised. Even competition of video games are held.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's approximately 1lakh per sem including hostel fee, tution fee, infrastructure fee, mess fee many and others. This is for general student. Some amount of fee will be reduced in case of quota such as green card etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Foreign students gets scholrships and it bares the costs of traveling after each semester. Educational loans are available in different banks. However, there is no scholarship for general student. Goverment Offices may bear the expense.

Campus Life

4.5

College campus have cricket, football, volleyball, basketball as well as lawn tennis ground. All the grounds are well maintained. It have all possible laboratory and have good infrastructure in the labs.

Alumni/Alumna

Firstly the campus is ragging free. Moreover, all the senior are very friendly in nature. The will help you in studies and well as in any other case. They even share their experiences and knowledge which helps in academic purposes.

Admission

I have given Jee main and achieved a rank of approximately 60K. I got the college from CSAB councelling. We have to go to college and complete physical verification. You have to pay the semester fee at the time of admission

Faculty

The college have all possible laboratory. There is a friendly environment. College campus have cricket, football, volleyball, basketball as well as lawn tennis grounds. It have unlimited WiFi connection and lift facilities in both college and hostel.

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

A pretty good college with scope of improvement

Likes

The campus life is amazing. Our student union is extremely hard-working, and they always come up with some events or other to make your boredom go away
Faculties are very knowledgeable and unlike most colleges, they actually want to teach. The clinical experience is unmatched
Infrastructure is top notch. Single rooms are available from second year, and the hostels are quite well maintained

Dislikes

The curriculum is a bit too strict regarding marks and attendance. A little leniency would have been better
The campus area is a little smaller compared to other AIIMS
Too much administrative red tape causes delay in almost everything, be it installation of new water filters or filling a pothole

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to become a doctor, and MBBS is the first step to become one, so I choose this course. This course makes you a primary care physician, capable of providing basic healthcare services. And being a bachelor's degree, this is a stepping stone for the future endeavours in medico life. Though I feel there's room for improvement in the flexibility of the course, as there's not much to choose what to study. Exams are once in 2-3 months, and are moderately difficult, except the professional exams, for which you have to put your best efforts

Teaching is very good here , all the teachers are good except a few
Supportive seniors, help with studies n all
You will get a good environment for studies

Dislikes

Well campus isn't as we expected it to be
As always you have to choose your friends wisely
There's not a lot of fests going on yearly as like other colleges

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well MBBS is a serving degree, if you are interested in serving the people you can choose this degree. It also needs a lot of patience, here we have classes from 7 AM so its a bit hard to wake up this early & ends at 4 PM which causes more trouble coz u won't get to rest properly, usually we end up being tired & lack of sleep, so I think this schedule can have a bit more change with regards to us children. The exams here are done very frequently, as in the class tests are taken up time to time , sometimes surprise tests are also done so u have to be very updated with what's being studied each cls.The internals are held in every trimester & at the end of the year a product exam is being held which is the important one.
