Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum was excellent and it covered all parts of the course even the minor aspects. There was internship as a subject in the course which really helps students to understand the real world concepts of the course and subjects. teaching method were also accurate with both practical and theoritical knowledge. The frequency of exams should be reduced as it became too hectic.

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid over 38000 thousand in course fee, there were no scholarships availabe and the available scholarships never reached my bank account, if you score more than 9-CGPA you might get a fee discount of Rs.3000, there are a very few options for scholarship available in this college. My batch mates paid Rs.2000 in fines that were never explained. They always charge higher than the listed fee.

Campus Life

3

Overall campus life was fair as it is at the end of the city there aren't many things availabe but you can survive. There are many fests and events in this college the biggest event is Anubhuti that is the annual event of the college, There are around 10+ clubs for each intersts of the students. The clubs organise events almost every week. There are around 3 libraries and 1 central library with well equipped facilities and many books available. Classrooms are average and don't provide any comfort. Sports is very much promoted in the college by the sports club, many sports like volleyball, tennis etc are availabe. There are many social groups in the college and fast food hotspots. These things impact student's life and they help them grow mentally and physcially.

Admission

I chose this college because of it's good track record and the faculty response was good, this college offered the course in most affordable range and with decent infrastructure. I was not able to crack national level exams and I did not want to take a drop so, I gave a chance to this college. The admission process is quite straight forward you take your documents choose the course and pay the fee if the seats are available your admission is done otherwise you're put in the waiting list.

Faculty

3

The faculty to student ratio is good on 13 students there were 7 faculty members teaching. All of the faculty in Humanities department were good and extremely helpful. There are 4 internal exams out of which best 2's marks were selected for internal marking, there were external vivas and semester exams at the end.

Night Life

4

There aren't much options availabe in this college going out at night is not safe at all, and there are not many transportation services available in day time as well. If you want to explore you'll have to go out of this college 12 kilometers away and the college gate opens at 8am then closes at 6.30pm so going out isn't easy as well. Still you can try going to Tyfflers cafe in front of the university.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for this course because I want to be a software engineer. I chose my course because it was well-informed, and my interest was also in this field from the start. The faculty members and platform were also quite good for nurturing personal skills and making one a skilled and disciplined person in life. I wish this course would focus more on practical things rather than being theoretical. Events, fests, and the campus environment are also very good and pleasing to the eye. Connectivity was also easy from all around the world due to its location. Scholarships were also awarded to almost every student.

Mass recruiters like wipro, infosys, capegemini also visited every year. About 85% students every year placed from the college.
