Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum for mechanical engineering is well-structured and covers all the important core subjects such as thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, machine design, manufacturing process, and strength of material etc. It also includes practical sessions and lab work that help students understand real-world applications of theoretical concepts. The curriculum provides a strong foundation for those who wish to pursue higher studies or career in industrial like automotive ,production or design. Some subjects are directly linked with modern technology and tools used in the engineering field. However there is still some scope for improvement the syllabus can include more industry oriented topics such as CAD/CAM software training, robotics and automation which are becoming increasingly important in today's engineering world Exams are conducted regularly including mid sem and end sem tests the difficulty level is moderate and students who study consistently can easily clear them.

Placement Experience

4

The placement scenario in our college is quite decent, especially for core branches like mechanical engineering. student become eligible for campus placement from the 7th semester onward. the college has a dedicated training and placement cell that helps students improve their technical and communication skill to work shops and mock interviews. Several reputed companies visit the campus every year, including TCS Infosys, tech Mahindra, and loid metals ,etc. around 60 to 70% of student from mechanical branch get placed either through campus recruitment or off campus drives. The highest package offer is usually around 6 to 7 LPA, while the average package lies between 3 to 4 LPA depending on students performance and skill set. some students also choose to pursue higher studies or prepare for government exams like GATE and UPSC after completing their degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

Addmission fees 8800 Development fees 5000 University fees 4882 Other fees 4000 Hostel fees 4000 Hostel mess fees 2000/month Student activity fees 5000 Tussion fees 00 Insurance fees 701 ( only for first year)

Campus Life

4

My overall experience with campus life has been quite good. the college organize both annual and technical festivals every year. usually in the month of February and March. At the starting of this year The cultural events abhirang 2025 wan conducted in between 1 to 3 march, After sports.this events give students a great opportunity to show their talent and creativity along with this various cultural and technical competitions are conducted which helps in overall development. The library is well maintained and has a good collection of books and journal that are easily accessible to student the classrooms are equipped with projectors and other modern techniques faculties that make learning more interactive and interesting. Sports and extra curricular activities are also given importance. the college senior students organises annual sport event and students are encourage to participate in various indoor and outdoor games. there are also different club such as technical culture and social clubs that support allows students to explore their interest and build team work skills. The infrastructure of the college is decent, with clear surrounding and well managed laboratories however, some processes like documentation and administration could be improved as they are a bit slow.

Admission

I applied to a few other engineering colleges through the CAP round such as Government College of engineering ,Nagpur and priyadarshani College of engineering ,Tulsiram Gaikwad Patil College of engineering our I got confirm admission to my current college based on my CAP on allotment in second CAP round . In first CAP round I get the Tulsiram Gaikwad Patil College of engineering. Iwanted to get addmission in that college because the college is good and near from my home city, but when the first CAP result is out I contacted to the college for the addmission but they said that the college fees is 60000 that's why I go to the next CAP round.and I get this college. The admission process was conducted through the MHT-CET (Maharashtra common entrance test).on the entrance exams for and the state level merit list, seat were allotted through the cap portal manage by DTE Maharashtra. after allotment college verification and document submission process took place followed by the payment of fees to confirm admission.

Faculty

4

The faculty member of the college are quite supportive and experienced. The faculty to student ratio is good, which allows teachers to give attention to the individual student. Most of the professors are approachable and always ready to clear doubts even after class hours.they provide guidance by the experts from the industry who are passed from college or can help us to know about industries. Among the faculties, I like the teaching style of some professor who make even difficult subject to understand. The course structure is will designed and cover both theoretical and practical knowledge.exams are conducted every semester after PT1 and PT2 , including assignment and practicals . The marking scheme is fair and transparent, results are declared on time , sometimes they give late result.

Interview Experience

4

For my admission, there was no separate group discussion, interview or writing test conducted by the college itself. the admission process was mainly through the CAP round which is based on the Marks and rank obtain in the entrance exam after submitting the required document and choosing reference through the online portal seats where allotted according to merit and categories.

Night Life

4

The nightlife around our college campus is quite peaceful and enjoyable. after classes most students like to spend their evening at cafeteria or canteen, which remains open till 8:00 p.m. the campus also has a gym that is open till late evening, providing a good option for fitness lovers. the library usually closed by 6:00 p.m. so students who prefer studying in the evening make full use of it before it shut down. The hostel timings are usually up to 9:30 p.m. for boys and 6:00 p.m. for girls, and students often gather in the common area or hostel Courtyard to relax and chat after dinner this moments help student bond and reduce academic stress. In 1st year I was in the hostel. Outside the campus there are several hangout spots like cafes, small restaurants, and parks where student can go in groups. places like local stalls and snack corners near the gate are very popular among the student for late evening snacks.

Placement Experience:

placements in GHRCE are pretty good for CS/IT branches. Students become eligible from 7th semester, but companies starts giving training sessions from 6th sem itself. Many known companies visits like Tcs, Wipro, Capgemini, cognizant, Infosis etc The highest package goes around 20-22 LPA while the average package is around 5-6 LPA. Almost 70-80% students from CS/IT get placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get a stable job and then do masters.

Reviewed on Mar 2, 2025(Enrolled 2022)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course out of sheer curiosity and intrest in the field of Artificial Intelligence . The course offered by the college encapsulates all the major subtopics included in the field. Theoretically the curriculum offers great knowledge about various topics from your course however you yourself have to figure out how do you build your practical skills which you can use in the real world. teaching methods can be improvised by implementing a more practical learning based approach rather than relying on the theoretical part of the subject. there are 2exams per semester, one small exam called as mid semester exams and the other one is the major exam called as final semester exam. difficulty of exam is usually easy to moderate and one can easily pass the exam even if he/she does not study regularly.
