The 2nd family

The college is management is beyond comparison in 2019, Jadavpur University ranked 13th in NIRF rankings and in the state of West Bengal, it is 1st.

The curriculum is based on CBCS. We have six semesters and practical exams. The practical rooms are great. It will truly make u a better professional. All the departments are well furnished and the workshops are also quite good. It is relevant, research-driven as well as fair.

Last year, 90% of students got placed and this year, one of the boys from Electrical Engineering got a package of about 70 lakhs. I haven't done any internship till now but I have heard that the college always helps u to pursue that internship and even scholarships.

There are various events that happen in college. There are two freshers for the new ones. Along with that includes the yearly Fest, Sanskriti. There are other competitions as well which is held in the college along with other colleges.

It is under the state government. So the fees are quite reasonable. I got admitted under 2000. For the backward classes, the college has its own scholarship where they can seek financial assistance and carry on their studies.

I opted for INSPIRE scholarship which is funded by the central government. You need a Photograph of yours, Class 10 mark sheet and Class 12 mark sheet along with an endorsement certificate which would be signed by the Dean of ur college.

The campus life will make you feel like home. The gender ratio is almost 50%. There is also a rich diversity in the college and the college welcomes everyone with open hands. The college has it's own gymnasium, football ground, cricket ground and also a basketball ground. The labs are looked after by our supporting staff and the competitions held are many.

The senior students always try to connect with you. They would talk with you in such a way that you would feel like a friend with you. They would always help you.

A provisional list was given. It was different for the West Bengal board and other boards. Since I was for ISCE board it became difficult for me to get admission into this college. I got 94.5% in ISC and got admission through the 2nd counselling. They are autonomous and so it gives the students an extra advantage.

The professors of this college are well qualified from various IITs and many other foreign universities like Cambridge University etc. They are very good and they always welcome u when u have any doubt. The best teachers of West Bengal will be teaching you in this college.
