Likes
- Infrastructure is pretty good, like the building is not like how it is of other colleges in delhi university.
- The teachers there are pretty helpful and give good advices.
- Security is pretty good outside the college, no one is allowed to enter the college without ID card.
Dislikes
- The campus is very small in size although the building is beautiful but the campus is small.
- Canteen is in a veryyy small space, all the students are unable to sit, it gets very crowdy during lunch hours.
- The staff sitting at the grievance window are little rude (specially the BCom one)
Course Curriculum Overview
As I'm pursuing ACCA along with this, so to clear it with ease i took this course. It teaches us about management and accounting so it's obviously pretty relevant with real world applications. I don't think there's anything to improve. It's accurate only.
Placement Experience
The campus placement is quite good, from 2nd or 3rd year students are eligible. Deloitte visited recently. I'm not aware about this, placements cells are made in college who take care of all this. A good amount of students get place, approx 20 students were placed this tym in Deloitte. I will be continuing with ACCA only.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is 23920/- for bachelor of commerce per year and I think it's appropriate according to the faculty being provided in the government college. I'm not very much aware about the scholarships and everything.
Campus Life
My overall experience in the campus is veryyy amazing till now. Freshers party was held in November. And library is fullyyyy occupied with alot of book mostly consisting all the authors. Yess in classrooms projectors are there. Not much aware about sports and all. Yes there are societies in my college like pathshala (for teaching children who don't have access to studies), and there's a society for dogs, cats welfare too.
Admission
Actually I didn't apply for any other university I did gave a thought to apply in BHU but later after the researches I found out that science faculty there is better than the commerce one so I dropped the plan to apply there so only applied for delhi university. The addmission process of our college is that you have to give cuet exam first later your result will come then after that csas portal will open then you have to fill application to apply in DU then fill preference list (most important), then you will get the college according to your marks and cutoff (they have to match).
Faculty
Faculty is in appropriate ratio, and the relationship among students and faculty is quite good. One can easily approach them for doubts etc. Dr Sunita Pooniya Mam, she's our business law teacher and she's veryyyyy helpful veryyy sweet. Suchi paati, business organisation management teacher, she's veryyy rude and frustrated all the tym. Exams are conducted regularly only with moderate level of toughness. A few of them only fail, and the tests are 100% relevant to the course curriculum.
Night Life
Our college don't have hostel facilities. And my personal favourite hangout place is back canteen area with good sunlight (full vitamin D) with a proper sitting area and also the ground. Yess the locality is veryy safe and it's a porshe area.
