DTU Economics program is a novelty!

There were plenty of reasons for me to get into this course. Globle economics, policies and politics. How they all play and are confined with a country's progress is what we are taught and yes like engineers we may not build but atleast economists are the ones who gives right policies for growth and that was the prime reason of me taking this course.

Recently Bain & Co visited our campus and offered winter internships to 8 students of our campus. The stipend offered was unimaginable as it was 40k a month. Now this has to be a hard pill to digest because even LSR and SRCC campus have never seen such stipend offers.

You name a sector and you will find that making its way in DTU. From finance the top company JP Morgan comes here, from pain sector but Asian Paints and Berger Paints are here from IT sector, TCS and Infosys are here. Hence, if one needs to work in best of companies of any sector, I think only DTU can help them get there.

DTU has its own college USME which provides the cours BA Economics (Hons). Our fees is 1,16,000 for the xoirs and it started with 90 odd thousand but as per the university rule, the fees gets increasing by 10000 every year. College events and all programs and exams fees are there and each student has to pay that also.

Engie Fest and it is still hosted in the main campus and our campus hosts DJ night and other competitions. Our lawn is big and classrooms and buildings are also quite big. Teh dandiya night hosted was a marvellous event and all the students of our university participated like crazy. I am glad that a lot of extracurricular activities happens at our campus providing us with much needed exposure.

Admissions in DTU happens through Common University Entrance Test. This is accepted by almost all top universities in India now including DU and cut-off for getting admission in DTU were in the range of 550-600 in our batch of 2023.

Most flexible thing in DTU ar eits faculties, they adapt themselves like anything and gives students the best always. The exams they conducted were best and also the nurturing and finishing the talent is what they have been doing for years and years. So on flexibility and openeness grounds I rate then as the best commodity that DTU East Campus has.

Our college is right next to the border shared between Delhi and UP. Maghun Mall of Ghaziabad is the closest mall and Laxmi Nagar Street food has to be the top outing spot for all the individuals or DTU. Even India Gate and Akshar Dham Temple aren't that far as its just 30 mins travel from metro close to the college.
