Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is excellent and it is up to date with the current education trend. We have two semester for each academic year. Each semester consist of two minor exam of 10 marks each one mid exam of 30 marks and one end exam of 50 marks. We also have the lab exams which is based on all the experiments performed the whole semester and the end exams and the viva.
Placement Experience
The placements and job opportunities are nice with good packages. Yes NITW(college) provides internships also. The students have to qualify the internship or the placements exam then shortlisted students are then proceeded with the interview process and then the results are announced. The stipend various from company to company.
College Events
NITW celebrate one fest each semester. In the odd semester it is a technical fest called Technozion which is very large fest in the south India. Various competition are conducted and workshops. Spring spree is the cultural fest which is held in even semester and various kind of cultural events are conducted.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's quite expensive but some concession are given to ST/SC/PwD students and the students who's family annual income is low. Also some scholarship are given to students who perform well in the academics.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college provides merit scholarship to the students who perform excellently will in academics. The whole tutition fee is waved off for these students. Also the college supports the government scheme of scholarship like e-pass scholarship.
Campus Life
NITW have various clubs and labs. We have clubs for singing and dancing, dramatics, painting. Science and hobbies club and many more clubs which conduct various events regularly. We also have all the sports facilities and students are motivated to participate in inter-NIT games.
Hostel Facilities
9/10 for the hostel infrastructure and the facilities. The hostels are build with all the rules and regulation along with the emergency exits and fire extinguisher for any case of fire accident. The hostel have very nice ventilation.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is very strong. Alumnus visit college regularly and interact with the students and help or guide them in building their future. Seniors are also friendly and help at each stage when we require their help
Admission
Got admission through qualifying JEE Mains exam which is a competitive entrance exam held across all over India and around 1.5 Lakh students write it. After qualifying we had the counselling process where we have to choose the college and the branch and the course of our choice and after various rounds we accept the seat and then verification of valid documents and acceptance of seat.
Faculty
The faculty of the college are very helping and understanding. They are ready to help us any time and for any situation. Some faculty are very friendly. They are specialised in their own fields and also have the knowledge of others subject which makes them help the students anytime.
