Course Curriculum Overview
Economics is my favourite subject as one thing which I have learned over the years that economics advisors shapes the economy. Look at any country for that matter and one will see that it's the economic advisors or their policies or vision which has changed the narrative. Narrative world is what we live in and thus, I also want to be a part of it.
Internships Opportunities
Let's say one third of the students get intenrships from University and rest all have to do it own their own. There are many skill building courses too in our college and students who prove themselves there easily gets internships at DTU.
Placement Experience
Our campus placements starts in the third year and even though it's a four year course but we can apply from third. JP Morgan Chase, Dabur, Hero Group and likewise many other groups come at DTU who are long date partners with DTU for placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
DTU fees has increasing policy as when I joined in 2023 it was a little above one lakh but now it is 1.25 lakhs which I paid for my 3rd year. If I continue the fourth year which is optional, I will have to pay 1.40 lakhs a year. For a government University the fees is a little high but still okay as our university provides so many things which even DU college doesn't.
Campus Life
Annual fest is Engie fest of DTU and main campus literally lits up as not just DTU students but entire student community of DU participates in our fest. Budget wise we are the largest in DU and that's not all we also have East campus where our college USME is located and it took has all the facilities required for shaping academic wise and otherwise as well.
Admission
I applied at Hansraj and SRCC and their cut-offs were much higher than ours. Thus, the only possible best choice for me was indeed DTU as cut-offs were quite low than DU top collehes and also we have enough students quota through CUET that students with 600 around score can easily get admission here.
Faculty
Economics society of it faculties of our branch are somebody who has also worked in the government sector as well. So, when one says that they have enough armoured faculties I think they should just have or make their faculties one on one debate with ours. I am sure DTU faculties will win it hands down.
Night Life
Needless to mention the amount of places that are there in Delhi. Nearby our college we avoid hanging out as not many cool things nearby this campus. We also go to main campus as we are allowed for the same. DTU Cafe is one hangout spots which is favourite of all DTU students.
