Course Curriculum Overview

3

At present I don't know how it prepares me for real world but I m working side by side for that but I m pretty sure till second semester I will realise the curriculum. Suggestion from my side is to get a good faculty Tutorial classes and for curriculum is to practice tally having connection with real corporate world.

Internships Opportunities

3

There are many companies that give sopporuntuy for internships in last year Accenture and de shaw offers 60k and 90k internships for two students. And also there are many groups in which internship opportunities are came on a regular basis.

Placement Experience

3

Bain & company, Accenture , de shaw any many more companies visited for campus. In last year two second year students got internships in Accenture and de shaw for around 60k and 90k. The highest package of my college is 36 LPA. Percentage of students getting placements is decent I don't have an accurate data. My plan after getting the degree is to do job practice for 1-2 years and then masters.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have paid around 30000 for this year and the total fees for my three year programme of Bcom H is around 90000. I did not applied for hostel as I am lived NCR. I don't have any idea about any other courses in my college. And yes our college provide scholarship for those who have applied on merit cum need basis

Campus Life

3

I am in the commerce society it is a most covieted society in DU. As I am part of the society i was engaged with their events like start right and ecospehere. The experince of start right was too good the refreshment was also yummy and after that society tooks us for after lunch because of the succes of tha event. Faculties are also good but the library lacks some books

Admission

I have appeared for the exam of cuet and there I got around 837 marks so I got hansraj college . It's my third preference. Shree raam college is everyone first priority but now I thought that It was not about college it was all upon you. Yes I agree that exposure of colleges are different but hansraj and SRCC are not too different. Admission process of college Is very easy through CSAS portal of DU after declaration of cuet results. Nothing went wrong with me.

Faculty

5

Actually I don't know the faculty to student ratio but there is a good relationships of students with all professors. Faculties are approachable. My whole section likes our Mr bharat bhushan sir who is a very good teacher very passionate about his teachings and they deserve a award by the college, one day I was casually walking and sir came and asked me how are you where you are from? How I teach you? Is it good or bad? So it is a very good expericne. Moreover our MPA professor Mrs ritika jain gave us very linient marks in internals as she understands us they in first semester students are facing many problems. I did not like dr shalu saini our financial management teacher as she was confused at some point while teaching to us. The exams were easy and results are not declared yet.

Night Life

4

Yes our college have canteen and three cafeterias , also a library and a public area. I don't know about the timings of hostel but our college starts by 8:00 am till 8:00PM. Famous hangouts in college are cafes and LP area but in summers most favourable area is C block like students were sitting in front of C block to get sun rays in winters and we have also a gym but is reserved for sports students not normal students.

Students of 3rd year are eligible for the same. Mckinsey, BCG, Bain, Blackrock, Meesho etc being the most prestigious recruiters. Highest package varies, but it went around 36 L last year. Avg being around 8 L. I would say most students who apply for placements get placed, however only a few get placed in the top companies. I personally wish to pursue an MBA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Although, people say that B.Com doesn't have a great scope to it, I feel like there are many life lessons that we are taught during our college years. Since the introduction of NEP 2020, there has been a rather great emphasis on practical learning. In our college, we are asked for presentations and group projects to promote learning and communication. The presence of SEC and VAC also helps you develop your soft skills, groom your personality and live a happy and healthy life. Exams are help at the end of every semester. There are a few guides and PYQs with the help of which a student can prepare for these exams. They are relatively easy in my opinion and do not require extreme efforts. Overall, it's a great experience and a great opportunity to learn so many things.

In the context of a fictional scenario, the placement scenario would depend on the specific college within Delhi University. Some colleges have robust placement cells that facilitate campus placements with various companies. The placement scenario can vary, and it's advisable to check with the specific college for accurate and up-to-date information.

I choose b.Com because I am from a commerce background. It is an open college class held only on Sundays classrooms are good but washrooms are average. Teachers are experienced and well-educated. Exams are held on every 6 months semester wise you have to study hard to clear exams.
