Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum was of Anna university's. In one semester they allowed us to opt for electives, that was one good thing, to really work on our passion projects. Other than that basic computer fundamentals were thoroughly covered in the syllabus.

Placement Experience

3

The placements for me started from end of 3rd year itself. The highest package was around 8 LPA from Mr. Cooper with additional 2L bonus if you stayed for 2 years. Avg. package was 4 LPA. 10-15 good and decent companies visited here.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fees alone can cost around 1L addn. Bus fees 15-20k. Exams fees approx. 5k. The hostel fees can go upto 6k a month. You can avail BC/MBC, SC/ST scholarship and also certain companies offer scholarship under CSR.

Campus Life

2

The extra-curricular and co-curricular activities were not found to be great. The tech fests weren't organized properly, since it is a small campus inter-college competitions were low. Importance given to sports was not that good.

Admission

The admission process here is based on 12th cutoff marks. Above 150 cutoff can easily get you into any of the branches. Since it was in my hometown, I chose this college. I also got GCE, Salem. But due to my interest in CSE I chose this

Faculty

3

The faculty to student ratio is good. Some really good faculty members are here. Praveen sir CSE, Shanmugavalli Mam, Geeth Mam Maths. There are totally 8 sems with each sem consisting 4-6 papers and additional labs.

Night Life

1

The college is in a remote place, there is only one restaurant nearby to hangout with no theaters nearby. Accomodation wise hostel was pretty good, but I've heard that the food wasn't that great except for some important occassions.

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers important subjects related to computer science, programming, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a good foundation in technical concepts and programming. However, more practical projects, industry-based training, internships, and real-world applications would help students become better prepared for careers and further studies.
