My college experience
Remarks :
My university is one of the best university in West Bengal as well as India. There are everything available here. Even lots of Improvement needed. Kalyani University is NAAC accredited, Member of Association of Indian University.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My subject is microbiology. According to me the course curriculum is good. As a student of microbiology, the syllabus, practical works are in good. My many friends belong from other departments and as their opinions, those departments are also good.
Placement Experience :
There are lots of placements and job opportunities here. Here main opportunities are research work. Lots of students do their research here and obtained PhD in various fields. There are also interships provide here by the university. Recently 21 Days Summer Training Internship provided by university for home students.
College Events :
Every events are celebrated here. Every occasions like Republic Day, Independence Day etc are celebrated. Recently Academic Festival arranged by university for first time. Even there are alsp tree plantations, innovative events also celebrated.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
There are lots of course in the university. Different course has different fee structure. In M.Sc in microbiology, there are 42240 per year needed. All total 82500 in two years. There are also options to pay the fee per semester.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There are lots of scholarships offered by university. Govt. scholarships are arranged by university. There are university scholarships, Tuition Fee Concessions, SC/ST stipend, Central as well as State govt. Scholarships, Research Fellowships.
Campus Life :
The laboratory are well equipped with trained technicians. Although lots of Improvement needed. Ther are various extracurricular activities, sports are arranged by University. There are many seminars, workshops also organized by university.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes. They are very good, helpful as well as friend like. They guide to better ways. They are skillful.They help us with a variety of innovative strategies and passionately. There are very good relationship between alumni netwrok as well as Senior students with us.
Admission :
I admitted here direct on the basis of merit list (60% Category for home university students for pg admission). It is very smooth, clear process. There are also entrace test for 40% category for other than home university students.
Faculty :
The faculties are good, helpful, friend like as well as guardian like. They are skillful, and guide us for better future. There teaching style are great. They teach with a variety of innovative strategies and passionately.

Placement Experience :
As this course is mainly research-oriented, students completing this program are taught to clear PhD entrance exams to get into the research field. Placement is certainly not the first choice of students. But if a student wants to get into industry then an industrial internship during the summer internship program will be of major help.

College management is perfect, just only negative point being they sometimes take too much time to reach a decision, rest everything is perfect.

The best university in kolkata for my course. the institution has well structured, organised education and examination method. The organisation has further courses for my course. The teachers are very helpful in my department. They guide, help students in their very possible way.

It is the nearest best college for my subject I found. I heard about this College from many of my seniors, teachers etc. I found College fee is affordable for my family. I heard about that the College have good faculty.
Remarks :
College is really close to railway station (2.2 km from Bidhannagar Junction), Low cost of fees, Good academics, Spacious, Green, Quiet environment ideal for studying. Only bad thing(according to my opinion) is the teachers are really strict. We can't bunk classes. We enter the college 10. 15 AM and leave at 4. 15PM. Sometimes this can be frustrating.
