Likes

The distance student don't have any particular classroom so we all who study by distance they all need a particular classroom
Our campus is toooo good and too large, that's why we have to walk more,but there is to vechile fecility,we need that
Course curriculum is not good,in every semester gap is 6 months,but is maximum gap that the university giving us is 7/8 months that's why we are getting delayed to get our degree

Course Curriculum Overview

Because there is available the distance learning so we can study from home,my university and my home town distance is 90 km so that's I can't go there everyday, that's why I chose the distance learning,we only have go there only for attend 2 day in week.

Class Size: 55Course Fees: INR 5000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

We will have to pay in each semester 5000 So basically there are 4 semester in 2 years that means if we pay 5000 in every semester so the total ammount that we have to pay is 15000,I am not sc or st so we don't have any cut and that's I will have to pay full ammount There is available scholarship for regular student but who study by distance they don't have any scholarship... that's it.

Campus Life

There are so many festivals in our university, that's are freshers festival, basant panchami festival, saraswati puja, teacher's day etc.we all enjoyed in those festival.there is also have a big stadium for our annual sports

Admission

In my area there is no university, that's why I choose that university, I also apply the university of burdwan but I rejected that's why I choose that university, admission depends on our graduation marks

Faculty

Student relationship is very good we all are getting in a good friendship,they are very helpful ifany student can't attend the class they all help him/her,but one thing I don't like that is the behaviour of some particular regular students.

Night Life

Our university city name is Kalyani,after kolkata that is the city of joy,so many light, plants, festival is available here, There is also have a hostel for them who study in regular,but I don't have any idea about hostel food

nothing much. Everything was good overall. If only the college could guide a bit about the placement program then it could be better.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is comprehensive and relevant covering literary theory, diverse texts and critical analysis. It prepares students for research and teaching. Exams are moderately challenging and well scheduled throughout the semester.

The thing I most like about my university that is our lecturers they provide good knowledge and they are caring towards students. They help pass to solve the previous 10 years paper question paper so that we didn't nervous in the examination hall
The environment of our college. There is a very pleasant environment because of many many trees flowers and everyone knows about Ravindra Bharathi is also really care for nature.
Everyone knows that we the rabindravat University students always organised various cultural program that feel help a student to enhance more

Dislikes

The thing I most dislike the fees structure whenever the University application form applied there is a huge fee they charge
Another thing when I candidate is not eligible for ma they didn't show on the application page that take money and they didn't refund it
They didn't provide the best library. Always there is not a good conduct of book

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always grateful for the institution because of the lecturer because they provide us good conduct of nose that's why we improve our studies and they taught us in different teaching methods and day all complete the course curriculum because of them we can know all of the things that can come in the examination and the prepare ask for real world application for father academic persues they can give us everything whatever we want for our life and we have to exam yearly one final exam

The Pros and Cons of Joining Jadavpur University Masters of Arts in Economics

Likes

Lush green and lovely campus, gives a perfect city vibes as well as greenery around
Huge social influence, and good knowledgable people around who are ready to discuss on any intellectual topics.
Expert faculty with proper emphasis on lecture quality, delivery, etc. Every faculty has a phD in their respective field.

Dislikes

Hectic lifestyle, there is a bit of pressure on syllabus completion
Exams conducted are a bit difficult with a higher frequency on conducting
Lack of Funding for campus development and deployment of proper infrastructure.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for applying for internships after the 3rd semester, and students can apply for placements only after 4th semester. Companies like Ericsson, Ernst and Young, JPMG makes visits our department for mostly analyst roles for economic and fundamental trading decisions. The highest offer made was 45LPA while the average is 7.5LPA. The median pakage is 8LPA. Almost 90% students secure placements after completing their degree since the Training and placement cell is pretty proactive in securing good company visits. I plan for investing and analyst roles in banking companies. I would sit for placements hoping for the same.

Likes

The behavior of the college staff is very good along with the teachers.
The campus is huge, along with a lot of amenities such as AC & smart classrooms, playgrounds, library, auditorium etc.
The college provides a great learning opportunity by internship opportunities at various companies.

Dislikes

There is a reason to worry as there are a lot of thieves around that area.
The nearby places of the college are not very safe, especially for women to travel at night.
The admissions criteria of this college are very tough. A student has to be highly qualified.

Yes my college is good for me and I prefer all student to go to my college.

The students who crack wbjee they are eligible for admission.Now in the University Administrative Building,in front of DODL building is provided the process of admission in ground floor . Actually on the online platform u can find the application form for wbjee which take the fess of Rs.500. The application date is fully described in Google.
