Course Curriculum Overview
I would rate the course curriculum at SGT University as good in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. The curriculum was designed to provide both critical knowledge and practical exposure in core areas of botanical engineering. Subjects were aligned with industry requirements and included important concept such as manufacturing design, thermal engineering and automation.
Internships Opportunities
NGT provided good internship opportunities for mechanical engineering students. Companies from HVAC and Automobile sectors regularly visit the campus, helping students gain practical in industry exposure and improve their technical and professional skills.
Placement Experience
Yes, the campus placements are provided. The students are eligible to do internships after six semester. The highest offered package is about 10,00,000 per annum, and the average package is 5,40,000 per annum. In my batch, all the students are placed. At present, I am doing internship at Honda Car India Limited and want to continue in this company at least for three years.
Fees and Financial Aid
Total fees was one lakh forty thousand which is fixed and not increasing throght out course(2022-2026). Yes, scholarship is there upto 100% of tuition fees(89,000) ok the basis of marks obtained in 12th and further semester wise
Campus Life
My overall experience was positive and enjoyable. The campus had a friendly and diverse environment that helped students interact and grow socially, various cultural events, technical fest, sports activities, and student clubs, encouraged participation, beyond academics, and improve teamwork and leadership skills The infrastructure was well maintained with good classrooms, laboratories, library facilities, workshops, sports area, cafeteria and hostel accommodations. The University provided a balanced environment for both academic learning and extra curriculum activities. Overall campus. Life was engaging and played an important role in my personal and professional development during graduation.
Admission
I choose SGT University for my BTech in MECHANICAL engineering because it offered a good balance of academics INFRASTRUCTURE, PRACTICAL EXPOSURE AND AFFORDABILITY, COMPARE TO SOME OTHER COLLEGES, I HAD CONSIDERED the University had well equipped laboratory, experience, faculty members, and a student friendly environment which influenced my decision. Its location near Gurugram also provided better industrial exposure and internship opportunities. Compare to other colleges. I applied to University had a smooth admission process and offered good facilities Along with the decent placement sport. Some colleges had higher fee structures for Limited practical exposure while SDT provided a more balance learning experience. The curriculum and academic environment were suitable for developing both technical and professional skills.
Faculty
I had a positive learning experience during my B.Tech in mechanical engineering. The faculty members were supportive, approachable, and knowledgeable in their respective subjects. They encouraged both theoretical understanding and practical learning through lab sessions, projects, workshops, and industrial exposure
Night Life
One thing I disliked about SG University was the lack of nightlife in or around the campus. The area is comparatively quite with limited late night cafes, hangout sports or entertainment options for students after college hours.
