Apart from Hindu College, i applied for a admission in Chemistry hons course at Banaras Hindu University and Allahabad University and I got the confirmed admissions in both but I chose Hindu College over others bcz of its reputation, NIRF topper(NIRF 1 all over India),etc. No, I didn't get any rejection from any college i applied for. Admission in Hindu College means being in best of best in India. In 12th 90+ is mandatory for general category students and plus out of 800, 775 is also mandatory for getting Hindu College political science admission. We get admission in most of the college now through CUET exam which is held in May and based on your score in that exam and cutoff of colleges we get admission.My first preference was St.Stephan college but didn't got that it's cutoff was 698/800 while hindu college cutoff was 692/800 so I got Hindu college.Most prefered courses are BA Honors , Bcom that is why cutoff of these courses is high while science courses cutoff is less comparatively.In terms of colleges North Campus college such Stephan ,Hindu ,SRCC ,Hansraj ,Miranda have high cutoff as compared to South Campus colleges....Read More

I choose this college as it got the NIRF rank 1 in 2024. The college is very diverse in terms of courses and students. The college has a campus area of around 25 acre. I have applied for the other colleges of north campus too but Hindu College was my first priority. I got it in the first round of common seat allocation system so I didn't need to bother to choose other colleges. I have to give cuet exam so that I can take admission in Delhi University. The eligibility for my course was to study mathematics till 12th class and the student who has given maths exam in cuet and 2 other subject and 1 language exam. Then the cutoff for this course comes in various colleges. College and course are allotted on the CSAS portal of Delhi University. The reason why I chose my current college that's Hindu College is because firstly the hype around it for being No.1 which I feel it certainly lived upto and furthermore it has the best infra in entire DU , the curriculum the faculty , the fests , the interns and placements in each and every aspects it's the best which kind of makes it a go to mark furthermore , I decided for my course at the very beginning and thus only 2 colleges offered this for the boys that's HINDU college and VENKATESHWARA College , Venky is good but far away from my home consumes a lot of time and moreover Hindu is the best and something I've envied a lot furthermore there was no parameter which barred me from getting into other colleges as I had a very good score in CUET , furthermore the Admission process for all the DU college and my college is based on a exam named CUET , thus this exam decides ur fate , the exam is of 800 marks for BA hons and 550 not really sure for BsC , there are cutoffs for each college and for my college the cutoff was 765 for BA socio which u have to meet in order to get into the college after that ur documents are strictly verified by the college , also in case u submitted a reservation ccertificate and after that finally when it's approved by the principal u get to pay the fees and thus in this fashion u confirm ur seat in the college . so this is the entire admission process ......Read More
