Remarks
There are a few negative remarks such as 75% compulsory attendance for eligibility in any subjects. Also, there is no dress code so people don't wear professional clothes in the colleges. The assignment is not always fair for all the students.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is really authentic and is based on implementations of theoretical concepts of the physics, chemistry and mathematics. The exam structure is like: maths-60marks, physics-60marks, chemistry-60 marks, english-20marks.
Placement Experience
The placements are really good and most of the indian top notch companies visit our college such as amazon, codenation etc. Our college do provide internship opportunities. The stipend would depend on companies and if you are going for research project in college itself then monthly stipend would vary between 5000-10000.
College Events
There are a lot of events celebrated in our college namely as: 1. UDBHAV 2.EDC-NEN-E-WEEK 3.WIP( IEEE FEST) 4.KANNADA RAJVOTSAVA the mentioned are the events organised by the student bodies and college supports everyone in it.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible as the college provide a lot of facilities. Also for the economically weaker people, the college provides different types of scholarship based on their performance in college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The scholarships are based on the performance of the candidates. For example, If you score more than 90% in 12th boards, you can avail a 10% scholarship in the tuition fees. Similarly for scoring more than 9 pointer in college, you can avail a scholarship.
Campus Life
There are many labs such as workshop lab, metrology lab, manufacturing lab, machine tools lab, ergonomic lab, CAED LAB etc. For core branches, there are many labs such as physics lab, chemical labs, electronic circuit labs etc.
Hostel Facilities
I have opted for hostel. The first year's hostel(FRESHER'S BLOCK) is really good. I would rate it 9/10. The senior blocks are not that good as they are old and i would rate them 6/10. The ARYABHATTA BLOCK is not well maintained and i don't recommend for stay over there.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni of our college is really good as many of the seniors are working in top companies across the world. Also, the seniors are really helpful in guiding for placements, higher studies etc.they also help in recommendation for internship in decent companies.
Admission
I wrote an entrance exam called as COMED-K and got selected based on my rank in the merit list. Later, i was called to bangalore for verification at a mentioned college and was sent to the respective college for my admission and hostel allotment.
Faculty
The faculty is really helpful and always supports students to take part in extra co-curricular activities. The exposure is really good at msrit. The HOD's help students to secure research internship at prestigious institutions.
