Faculty student relationship is like friendship not as a student and lecture I like Anikesh Dubey and Pooja ma'am and Priyanka mam and they are teach good in manner and they are the best faculty I don't like Anjali Chauhan because she teach speed I don't like Anjali Chauhan name exams and maximum easy the student so many are fail because first time that's it
Biggest fest id ENGIFEST which happen in feb or march every year it is 3 day long cultural fest with multiple artist lineups and many extra curricular activities. there is also a tech fest called Invictus it is also 3 days long and students from various colleges come to the campus to compete.
Average fee for a year is 2.5 lakhs for each category. Fee consession is provided after first sem on the basisi of family annual income. There are some government scholarships like NSP which provide scholarchips to students on the basis of category and academic achievements.
i pay nearly 77000 per year according to structure the government has to give 35000 but we have to pay money earlier and take money when government credits there is no reservation in fee are all equally treated and the college fee is 35000 and libary fee is 5000 and ibm fee is 10000 and 5000 is building fund and the transport fee is seperate according to distance
the relation ship between teacher and student are very good and most liked because they are well supported and we are having veeramani madam and veeralakshimi madam which are teachers of of our branch that supports us and guide us in the tough situations and some times make stress on us for fees it is some what difficult
The aspect of the curriculum that influenced taking the decision to choose this course was that doing honours in commerce would allow me a chance to do specialization in marketing which is what I want my career domain to be. It really well Prepared me for the real world applications with subjects like Accounts, Laws, HRM. The exams are not very difficult but there is enough gaps in between exams. About 3-6 of gaps between each exam.
Faculty to student ratio I believe should be 1:16 The faculty is really approachable and helpful. The professors teach really well. Teachers for my courses of Bcom H, like Suman Jain, Arjun Mittal, RC Garg teach really well, make us learn in a modern way, make us give presentations. I had 6 exams, including my Sec exam. They were not so difficult.
In my department there area approximately 100 students to which there are 8-9 teachers. The teachers are supportive and approachable except for a few. Dr.Bhupender Kumar is who I consider to be my favourite faculties. There are in total 7 exams in sem-1, including DSC, GE, SEC, AEC, VAC. In my opinion the SEC, VAC subjects are an extra burden on the already stressed students and don't do any value addition to the students life.
To be honest the course curriculum is designed keeping in minds the students and hence giving them time of both academics and extra curriculars. The only drawback of the syllabus is thatbits not very comprehensive and doesn't give an indept knowledge of the subject.
For me personally B.Com hons. is saviour . After tyhis course i will particapate in few competitive exam too. Areas for improvement can be done by adding more practical knowledge to our curriculum which will be helpful .
Year wise fees is 30000. Its contains every fee no extra charges other than examination form . My other batchmates fees are same for general, other than general there are slightly diffrentiation between fee structure.
I'm totally satisfied with my fee structure as according to the position and the emmense value that college holds among the all DU colleges it would be a decent fee although I don't know about the other courses fee and other colleges fee but according to the course it is the affordable that an institute can demand
According to me it is relevance because I want to go in defence services in KMC I also joined NCC so it helps me alot in my personal development and after choosing B.A. sanskrit honours I don't have too much hectic in my curriculum although I studied Sanskrit upto 12th but there is some topic which are difficult.
For first year i paid 170600 and for the rest of 3 year I have to pay ~165000 per year. Yes their is scholarship but it provided up government specifically to those who have family income below 200000 and don't have a government job and it is only up students, other state students don't get any scholarship. Complete course fees is approx 675000
The internship opportunities provided by the college are fairly decent and play an important role in giving students early exposure to the professional environment. The college actively shares internship openings through its training and placement cell, official communication channels, and faculty references.
The faculty members in my college are very approachable and amiable. Professors are highly qualified with many holding PhDs in their respective niches. The faculty members of commerce department , specifically , consists of amiable and helpful individuals. As far as examination is concerned, semester examinations are held twice a year , once in December - January and the other before summer break around May. The course curriculum is highly relevant and NEP made it even better for students. The optional papers (vac, sec, aec, ge) help us learn and explore things from broader perspective . I myself opted for English as my GE to pursue my interest in literature alongside a completely different course , that is , bcom hons.
The annual fest of hansraj is called "Confluence" which may be a 2 or 3 days event. The campus gets very vibrant and lively during these events and fests. Musicians and artists are invited to perform while various inter college competitions are held. Societies hold events almost every month ranging from society oriented annual events or simpler yet valuable speaker sessions. The campus life is one word is very "happening" , especially during fests and events. As far as facilities are concerned , books are easily available for issue . Computer labs are accessible to students for technical work. Many students are involved in sports and equipments are provided for the same.
Campus life of amity is quite nice, annual festivals held are Freshers, and university freshers and Fest. Fest is held in the end of february. amity's library is the most visited place as it contains innumerable books and it has 3 floors with escalators for easy usage of the students. there are many tables with several chairs. there are also many that are booths for 1-2 capacity with desktop to study more efficiently. sports event that is sanghathan is held in november with students from different courses and department competing against each other. Many alumnis had started clubs, and the club that i am in - ACPC make sure to hold atleast 2 events per month with participation from within the campus and also from different colleges.
Many faculty members are very friendly with the students, mostly the PL that is, the teacher incharge for a few classes altogether, are quite helpful. HOI of the CSE department is very sweet and a great OOPS C++ professor - Dr. Subhash Chand. There are 2 exams, one set of midsems and one set of major exams. Major exams are quite difficult. sometimes the questions are straight from the PYQs but every once in a while there is an exam that comes out of nowhere and is quite difficult.
The professors of my college i.e. Kirori Mal College are very good and friendly, they help the students a lot in their academics, this is good for the students, I like the arts block and science I really liked these two blocks which are well made. I didn't like the Commerce block because I saw it as an addition to the Block Art block, it should be separate. There are 2 semesters in a year, out of which there are 7 papers including theory and practical and there is no separate cut off in the papers, only that which is in the syllabus comes.
Yes, there are many events in my college. In the month of November, many different types of events are organised like NSS Mela. The college library is very good and has a lot of relevant books stored in it, which is a great facility for the students. Class I have AC and fans, lights which are fine, and many other things like LED projector. There is also a sports ground in the college where many activities are conducted and many competitions also take place.
-My yearly fees is 69,700 INR. Every semester I have to pay 34850 INR. -I have Reimbursement scholarship from my government - Andhra Pradesh. -My government has paid for 1 and half year only, now I am in my final year. -But for each semester excluding the yearly fees i have to pay atleast 10,000 INR for CRT and VAC, also included other exam fees as well. -Every year I have to pay 5000 INR includes building fees and University fees. -I am studing in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for which my fees is 69,700 INR per year. -My other batchmates across other departments like EEE, MECH,ECE, CIVIL, other core branches of CSE will be paying various amounts based on their selection of their department and extra course which they can opt to study. -Government of Andhra Pradesh has promised its student to provide scholarship for all the students who are under the eligibility criteria of the Scholarship under Reimbursement Tuition Fee (RTF) -Based on different caste systems, the scholarship has been deposited across various timelines into their respective bank accounts linked to according to the Government rules. -For my caste students(BCB), the scholarship has been deposited into my mother's bank account every 3 months : 4 quarters across the entire year which is 17,425 INR per quarter. -While coming to the other minority caste (SC, ST), the fee structure from the Government is different. It only had 2 quarters. The Government also covered other facilities like Hostels, Laptops in some cases. -For my junior batchmates, it is going to increase every year as per the latest news from my college. -In this way, the college fee structure is divided and varied across all the different departments and various students based on the Government scholarships to different caste people.
-The faculty in my college is very good. Everyone is very well educated with various Phds under every faculty. -All faculty is very supportive encouraging every student to follow their passion. -Their encouragement is throughout the board encouraging us to not only study but to participate and win in various college activities. -For every 5 months, we have a semester with exams conduted day-by-day during the semester. -Every semester has 5 subjects with 2 external and internal labs varying across to the juniors as there is now some changes to their courses. -The mark scheme is out of 100 marks. The semester exam will be written for 70 marks. The rest of the 30 marks are accumulated from my mid-exams. -These mid-exams are conducted twice every semester for which 80% of the maximum marks + 20% of the minimum marks will be added as part of the rest of the 30 marks. -The faculty-to-student ratio is approcimately 1:25 which is fine as the professors are readily available for any student. -I liked SivaSankari madam due to her supportive nature. -I disliked Nagesh sir as he shows care in a tough manner which is very scary. -We have a good pass percentage with a pass-to-fail ratio of 9:1. The professors are very good and encouraging and will choose to help the students in need.
The faculty members are really good. They have great knowledge about the subject, some of them are understanding and have good relations with students. There are some traditional teachers too. The exams are conducted in proper manner and with strictness. The preliminary exams are conducted online and finals are conducted offline.

The college celebrate all the festivals and all the programs in the college. For each month, they atleast conduct a one celebration and one program. In the college, there are two libraries, one is the department library, you can find books and journals related to your course. The courses includes Chatgpt and AI tools, cybersecurity, etc., we have to pay for that course also. I the fees must be around 1200.f you are doing your master's, it is compulsory to complete 2 swayam courses, it fee must be around 1000 for each course . The fees structure for aided is nearly 8000,for self finance category It may change , it is nearly starts from 22,000. It may change according to your course. All the students have a merit scholarship by state government, it must be around 3,000. It is only for SC and ST category. The merit scholarship by central government, the amount is about 10,000. If you get more than 80% in your school and academic results. You can apply for this scholarship program.
Last year college become autonomy and now college upgrading courses and curriculum. And also emphasized on skills and attendance . Exam difficulty level is medium. They need to focus more on practical knowledge rather than theoretical for hardware core courses.
Faculties are very good and supportive. There are two mid sem test and one exam for each semester. Their is no negative marking in exam. Exam held in college no need to get out centres for exams and college is autonomous.
They have freshers which was good enough only con wa sthat it was total south indian style. they have a annual event known as Cascades which didn't happed last year due to some reason. Library is good enough, not that huge, good enough books and catogery. technological provisions are also good enough with each classroom having Smart boards. sports faclities are there with each sports ground. Clubs are there but almost no event or working in there.
As for the first years, The faculty members are not that good. Most of them are having their first year in teaching with no teaching experience. As for the course structure, for first year its quite easy only with subjects like egdt, chemistry, physics, environmental science, kannada kali, electronics. Marking scheme is also good with mid sem holding 30, internals holding 30 and final sem holding 40 marks per subject.
Since, my course includes computer science electives, it is pretty much relevant to the current industry standards but standalone not that great, I would either require masters or speciliazations to get a good placement. I believe the physics lab experiments are absolutely irrelevant and I hate them because they are just unnecessary burdens with no actual purpose. Exam difficulty is easy to moderate and practicing previous year questions are enough to fetch you good marks. My course has three dicipline specific electives (Physics, maths and computer science) and the only subject I care about is cs.
Campus life is the biggest pros of this college and North campus as just infront of our college there is a very big big market called Kamala Nagar Market, which has every major food and clothing brand along with ample of street hawkers and vendor satisfying various student lifestyle needs. There is an in-house stationary in our college which has eveything we need. There are a lot of societies/clubs and I myself ampart of 7 of them. SPorts ground is big enough and well maintained with adequate infrastructure.
it really doesnt have any fest or festival kind of stuff. basic celebration of diwali decoration, christmas celebration. i havent really been to the central library, i have only been to the reading room area which is good, clean and good for personal study time. there are also computers in the reading room if you want you surf online for study materials. classrooms have basic lighting, fan, windows for ventilation, blackboard, whiteboard, projector and white screen. there are different clubs for each course, like in english there is a club called meraki, in psychology there is a club called chetna
i personally think the faculty of english, medieval history are really nice, interactive and easy for any student(im also an introvert) to communicate. i personally liked english faculty the best. the professors are chill, open and ready to listen to your opinion. about my pschology faculty the professor seems always not in a good mood and mostly cancels class. my first semester exams just ended and i would say the paper was good and direct for my course but i have heard from my seniors that faculty never leaves way to cut your marks from your answer sheet. very strict paper evaluation.
Our main fest is called renaissance. We can find every kind of book related to every subject in the library. Moreover we also have e library. We can access it online. It is a good facility. KMC is famous for arts and sports. We have one of the best dance societies in whole du- sensations which I'm a part of. There are many good societies like gender forum, peace club, eco club and all. Even cry- child rights and you. Debsoc is also famous here. We have digital board and good facilities in classroom. Fests are held in March April time. Freshers were held in October this time.. it differs according to the department
Faculty is really good. They are so helpful also. They are supportive in pursuing creative opportunities. Mid term exams , internals and sem exams are there. Everything is easy if you study well. It's not like so hard. But still you have to read properly to answer everything perfectly. Course curriculum is also really good. Students don't fail. 90 percentage of them pass easily.
Hello I am Purba Maji and I am doing BA LLB (Hons) from NMIMS SOL. Definitely the cheapest campus of NMIMS is ours as the course fees is just 1.5 lakhs a year. Yes because I am not from Indore I have to take hostels of NMIMS and the fees is little steep of it as it's 1.9 lakhs a year. Both fees that is hostel and college are paid semester wise.
We do have sports and hostels alongside two beautiful gardens, 2 cafes, a sports ground and beautiful academic and admin building. So, NMIMS Campus yes a little far off but definitely one for being a part of makes me feel proud for sure. Our annual fest are NMotsav and Sangam. Sangam is like a competitive event while NMostsav is a musical fest.
