In gate Collage they give the the practical knowledge good and we having labs for every subject and there is lot of Practical faculty is there can help us and clarify our doubt and we have have one indoor game facility is also there we can play all the indoor games and as well as outdoor games also.

Per year there is 2 semester and two internal exams,there is 8 semester for 4 years and practicals exams also every year and exams result will comes as grade wise A,B,C,D,E,O and F in grade only we have to calculate the CGPA. and every yea if we pass we get our mark sheet and certificate for that.

I got the form from the local stationary nearby and filled it and sent it along with demand draft of Rs 5000/- drawn in name of “SVIET” payable at Chandigarh. There are a lot of options to get admission into the college. I got admission through giving college's entrance test which was pretty challenging. I followed the forums online and revised my syllabus of class 9th to 12th inorder to be able to crack the entrance. Placements are the best part of our college and their are around 180 companies visited our college and job opportunities are very high with the average package of 4-5 lakhs. Almost every students got placed and average package offered was around Rs. 4.5 Lacs. Some of the companies offered a whooping package of more than Rs.50.00 Lacs.

The faculty was good, i had a nice experience working under them i cherish the work they asked us to put up in the assignments and the projects and all such things. Some of the teachers are really good, very educated and have deep understanding of the topics and subjects they teach.

Campus provide a good infrastructure and a well-maintained library for all the students and teachers.In the library, users are not allowed to distort or deface any book, magazines, newspapers etc.Persons held responsible for any damage, distortion, defacement or mutilation of the books.Students can borrow a book for only 15 days.After that book must be renewed again.

Placements are decent, fairly good. Won't say they are too good or too bad. More than 75% students get placed every year, on the basis of past few years knowledge. It is not that the other entire 25 % do not get placed, but among then, some pursue higher education or business. Highest pay package: INR 12 LPA, one student.
