I was admitted on the basis of Merit. The College follows the admission process of the Kerala State. Therefore there is a weightage for backward communities. Admission is purely on Merit for B.A., B.Com., B.B.A, B.Sc. and M.Sc., M.A. and M.Com. courses. For M.S.W. applicant has to write the Entrance examination conducted by the college. For M.B.A. applicant should attend either CAT, CMAT or KMAT. For M.Sc. Space Science and M.Sc. Medical Microbiology, M.Sc. Applied Fisheries and Aquaculture admission is based on merit and interview. This becomes a trouble for those who are not interested in some course, but still need to attend many classes of the same, or in courses where the faculty isn't good, but still unworthy class is a must-be-attended.

The college has some of the best professors from the country. There is also a thorough feedback system. The break up of marks is also well-designed with ample freedom to professors .They are great in research, but only some of them can be called good 'teachers'. Some of them follow the chalk-on-board method, and some of them go for sliding notes on a screen. However, the faculty is mostly friendly, and are always ready to help the students in the best way possible. The student to faculty ratio is about 10 students per faculty member in the department.

Senior students are also available for the ease of students providing them with the most of information they have about the campus as well as the exams.

Faculty members are qualified and well knowledgeable in their respective syllabus. Really helpful and cool faculty members. Methods of teaching are practical and theoretical, both. There are enough faculty members for each department. I didn't get any industry exposure. The faculty members are less in number but that is never a problem due to their helpful nature.

Faculties are amazing Prof. Raj Kumar, prof. Dipika and all of them, they are well qualified for the professions.The faculty members are really helpful. They all regularly take classes and do not miss any lecture to take. They are very warm hearted and at the same time strict with the notes they have given. Their notes are so valuable that you do not have to pick any book to study. Their notes are enough.

Total fees was 7.9 lacs for 2 years MBA course excluding hostel fees which was 70000 thousand yearly. Hostel fees includes fooding and logging. Fees was feasible . Because this college is in bangalore and its a IT HUB. So total fees what i paid in two years was 10 lacs.

It was a golden days i would say. Currently i am working and holding 2 years of experience in my hand. There was no such gender discrimination in my college. Every saturday was club day which includes extracurricular, labs, sports, competitions such as robotics, debates .

I chose this university as it was closer to where i live. i had also heard it is nice. A minimum of 50% marks is required for admission in this college. JEE MAIN and REPT rank is also considered. Students fill out applications. If their application is shortlisted, they called for an interview. Then the college decides the if person is eligible or not.

There are summer internships for Btech students. Internship is compulsory in the 3rd year but in the 4th year, students have a choice to either choose a short term course or an internship. Many renowned companies come to the campus for summer internships.

The program is almost equivalent to one semester and carries a weightage of 18 units, which is normally equivalent to six academic courses. The internship which would be a simulation of real work environment requires the students to undergo the rigor of professional environment both in form and substance. It exposes them to technical skills and helps them to acquire social skills by drawing them into contact with real professionals.

The university has huge open space for outdoor and indoor sports which are carried out under the guidance of our sports club. The Sports club of the university monitors the physical fitness of the students. We encourage the students to participate various games and sports. The university also has two courts for Badminton for boys and girls separately and a proposed court for Basketball.

Guest of Honor, Dr P Venkatswarulu from IBSAF Hyderabad gave welcome address to our alumni and also mentioned alumni are the pillar, strength and the brand ambassadors of the Institution and a very vibrant relationship must be established and nurtured. The morning was devoted to recreation through management games and cultural activity. The enthusiasm of alumni along with the students was overwhelming. Alumni also shared their experience with current students and gave them career guidance. Cultural program was organized by IBS students which included instrumental, singing, drama and dance performance followed by lunch and cake cutting ceremony as vote of thanks.

To take a walk down the corridors of nostalgia, the first alumni Meet, SAMAGAM 2014, IBS Jaipur (The ICFAI University, Jaipur) was organized on 20th December 2014. The reunion was organized by students club, IBS Jaipur in association with IBSAF (IBS Alumni Federation). The event was announced in the month of November itself and the news spread far and wide. The Meet was attended by alumni of different batches that graduated in year 2000 to 2013 who have made IBS proud by their accomplishments in professional lives.
