Anna University Course Curriculum was quite good to make a steady improvement in a particular stream. I felt that way in terms of theory i can find Improvements in Learning and understanding some complex science subjects quite easy But in practical aspects i couldn't get so much exposure towards all equipment because every lab goes towards scoring marks not earning knowledge.
I felt Surprised about my college staff. One cannot expect a best staffs in a newly built college that started one year before when i joined . I have no idea about other departments but in my departments i should say they are the best staffs. They teach beyond the syllabus and feed us with impressive encouragements.
The faculties were quite good, all experienced personal were there, they were quite helpful. We could reach out to them anytime for any issues be it their subjects or some other related, they would surely help if they can. Laboratory experiences were also good enough.
I had taken WBJEE and then taken admission in IT back in 2010, I had opted this college because at my rank this was available and had decent good commutation routes, moreover the past records for the placement was good enough for me to get in here.

College life is great if you make good friends. Gender ratio as I feel is of 55:45(boys:girls). Crowd is mixed. Students from rich background as well as from poor background studies together. Extracurricular includes NCC , NSS, nukad natak , music group, dance group, cricket team, football team, badminton, volleyball. Students remains usually polite and disciplined because of strict administration rules.
My best 4 was 79 and they required 84% in second cutoff for baby programme. When I checked their website cutoff , they offered 5% relaxation for students opting mathematics in BA programme. I immediately went to college. Provide them copies of my case pass certificate, 12th worksheet, 10th worksheet, character certificate. Administration was good but they made me sit and wait for 2 and half hours.

GMRIT is always right up there when it comes to celebrating events and technical fests. We used to have a technical fest every year in the month of January where all the students from various colleges used to attend and present their work. And besides that we used to have a annual day every year in the month of march which was celebrated on par with any best events out there.
The Faculty out there in the college was awesome. The knowledge they shared with us is awesome. They used to help in every possible way. Some professors used to be very friendly and some are very strict. Few helped us in some research programs and well and guided us on having knowledge on the latest technologies which were not included in the course.

The fee structure is quite expensive when compared to other local college in Rajkot. Studies and data shows that it has highest fee in any college which are under the Gujarat University. For 2013-17 the annual fee was 78000₹ and for 2015-2019 was around 90000₹. However due to high vacany fee is again reduced for 2016-2020 which is around 80000₹ per year. Mode of payment is strictly through check. T
The course structure is little bit outdated as it is affiliated with Gujarat Univeristy. But it has got a univeristy status from 2016 and i am hoping the curriculam will get better as years progress. There are no electives for student. Course pattern is decided by the univeristy and if there is any elective college will decide as per univeristy norms.
You can get the all placement related records and data from it’s official website KIET Group of Institutions . But in nutshell I can say from placement perspective KIET is in top bucket among other UPTU colleges. So for placement it stand on 4.5/5 . Overall I can say that KIET is one of the best college in that region and some of the best thing it provided me are knowledge, friends, placement and tons of good memories.

All the faculty members are qualified from IIT's and NIT's. The way they teach us Is very good and all the teachers are helpful to us and very good in nature. One of our lab assistant is not good he doesn't knows anything. There is a subject named professional skills in which teachers comes from an institute named TIME which was no. 1 Institute of jaipur.

I took the form from the college , filled it out and submitted the required documents with it. The date was given for the test. I gave the entrance test, then after a few days the merit list came out and i had gotten admission. After that the procedure for the fees payment began the same day. With the fees we had to submit our original leaving certificate and maksheet of standard 12th.

It was for the students who just completed their course. Matkifod is on janmasthami and college fest is in jan-feb. UPTU Entrance exam. My rank was in 40000. I was not aware of the college ranking, one of my neighbor told me krishna college is good followed by RKGIT, AKG, KITE and few more good colleges. But what just remain in my mind when i went for Counselling is Krishna and that is how i land up in this college even though i was having far far better options to choose.

There are several societies in your college . Each and every society plays a very important role in each and every festival celebrated in our college. And each and every festival is celebrated to the fullest. There are cultural activities too. And every field of talent is giving equal importance by the events which take place in every field. Even sports events take place periodically , indoor and outdoor both.
According to the facilities provided the fee structure is really very good and completely affordable. In my junior college my fees was just 150rs as i was a reserved category student and the fees for regular students was 1500. In my B.com course due to lack of certain documents i decided to take admission in open category my fees was just rs. 3500 and for those who took computer subject was 4000 approx.

Exam structure is kind of tough. We didn't have a gap between two exams, Well its somewhat complicated. We had two exams in one day for internals, and between those two gaps, we didn't have any time for revision. Five minutes before the first test finished, they had already kept the second paper on our desks. Even for our external examination, we do not get any gap in between for revision.
The fee structure varies from course to course. For B.com(Hons.), it is 1,25,000. For B.Tech, it is 2,80,000. It does not have any quota for anyone and has a common entrance examination for everyone i.e., NPAT. I will say its expensive, since for someone who has brains and wishes to pursue his studies at a higher level won't be able to afford it.
The Academy has a well established training and placement cell, headed by Prof. Students in the second and third year are encouraged to take summer training in various industries. Final year students, generally who score 60% in all semesters/examinations, have excellent chances of getting placements through campus interviews. Every year, students who graduate are placed in one of the renowned companies through such campus interviews.

Course structure is perfect with a mid sem and a semester there are 8 semester in total (4 years) the EEE course is great with 1st and 2nd sem including the basic subjects PCM and then the core subject including electronics advance with three subjects including practicals. Couse structure focuses on research work and practical knowledge well practicals include good knowledge of the subject.

The exams happen every semester. Units are held once a month. Submissions happen weekly so it becomes hectic along with completing assignments and lab manuals and all. The unit tests are easier compared to the semester exams. Mumbai university corrects papers horribly. Many of my smart friends failed due to their horrible corrections.
The course curriculum is very dry. There is no practical application for the theory we learn. The significance of the theory is not taught. More emphasis is given to memorisation rather than developing skills like speaking confidently and all. This is the biggest drawback of the curriculum.

There are semesters system in our college. In one year there will be 2 semester. If your course is 3 year there will be 6 semesters. In each semesters there will be one mid sem of 30 marks and 70 marks in end semesters. This system will be continued to 3 years.
Job opportunities are not good because company is giving less salary in out of town so we not afford it. When company gives salary more than 18000 thousands .So all the students are think for job. Nowadays life is too expensive.

Fee is very nominal it's not very expensive it took around 4-5 lakh to complete my engineering excluding personal expenditure but including food which is covered in hostel and extra expenses are also on your own choice plus college also provide scholarship of 40000 per annum for students whose parent's income is less than 2 lpa. So you can afford a government college but please check the new scheme and fee structure as it has been two years.
Placement and job opportunities were great and I think it must have improved in these two years at my time TCS ,wipro ,Tech mahindra, L&T,anf few more companies visted my college and placement was also good for mechanical and Civil most of the students prefer government job so they search for PSUs and I guess that's best for them rest electronic and CS students opt for MNCs.
