Faculty is backbone of the institute. Many teachers from IIT Madras come 2-3 days in a week to teach. Most of them have completed PhD and are emeritus teachers from Madras. Ego- less teachers with high intellect and years of experience, all of these elements are present in everyone. Frankly speaking, I personally felt like getting knowledge from God itself when I first sat in the classroom.

Campus life is the heart of this college experience. The seniors are awesome with 0% ragging. Gender ratio is the highest among any of the IIT's. Official and non- official parties are all engaging. There is plenty of scope for showcasing talent at various events organised by the college seniors. There is no problem for a student to get settled here. Everyone is treated as a family member.

In Dayanand Sagar college of Engineering There are More than 15 Branches of engineering are there. more than 500+ faculty. So mechanical Department Concern there are 30+ faculty . Faculties are well qualified and 80% of staff in mechanical are doctorates.I learnt lot of things from my faculty.

In engineering there is 2 semester per year. One is odd another is even. Odd semester exams will be held in the month of december and even semester in the month of june. Exam pattern is good total 125 marks for each subject in that 100 marks for theories and 25 for internal exams.

Semister system. 60% external 40% internal. Internal includes tests and labs both. Apart from regular curriculum, training is given on tools like SAP, SPSS, Data analytics tools etc. The college is very strong with respect to curriculum. The day is structured so that you have enough time to learn and grow on all areas. If planned will and not waste time, the curriculum is well planned to cover overall development of the student.

All festivals are celebrated at college. Lohri, Christmas, holi, ganesh chaturthi, sankranti, dussera etc. Apart from all these regular college events are owned and organised by the students. Drishti is an event organised for colleges all over India on quizzes and technical knowledge - paper presentations are organised. Competitions are conducted. HR Summit for knowing best practices in the area of HR operations.

The campus life is awesome. The fation in college is good. Students of deffernt region from India as we'll as students from abroad admitted to this college. The knowledge, information, culture, and faction we can seen in this campus. Campus has saperate hostel for girls which is secured by CCTV camera and biometric identified system. Because of security the crime in campus is zero.

I have fill the council form online and opted the first choice VNIT college. I got the admission according to my all India rank and reserved seat for my category. There two types of reserved seats are here. First one is on all India rank and other is state merit rank. Placements and job opportunity is much better than other colleges. Mechanical, metallurgy, electrical, electronics and telecommunication, civil, architecture, mining and computer science has better placement than chemical engineering. Chemical engineering is new branch there.

I have read advt in news paper. Procedure of getting admission in this college is as like any other college. You required to clear entrance exam to study full time course. If you want to study part time weekend then 2 to 3 years of work experience is required. For part time course you need to appear personal round of interview.

There are many event celebrated in this college. This college celebrates every core festival of india like dusshera , diwali etc, they also organise sports events. Picnic events and and industrial visits. This college also celebrate traditional day on occasion of festival like diwali , dusherra.

Placement is awesome. Last year out of 100, 90+ were places. After all getting placed in good company is depends upon your talent and personality. College brings lot of companies and they have tie up with many MNCs. Placement record is really good. We do have SAP,DIBP,PGPM and many other courses which are offered by the college which adds additional point to my profile.

Our college conducts many events. As I am fresher I really don't know much about it. But we do have fresher's party every year. Which is conducted by college and our seniors. We do have many cultural and technical events as well. My college gives equal opportunity to each and every student.

Exam structure is as per BPUT guidelines. In a year there will be 2 semesters and in each semesters, 3 internal exams will be conducted by the college. All the Student have to perform all the Practical/Lab test and viva will be conducted at the end of each Lab assignment or there will be final viva at the end of all Lab assignments.

The Department was started with an intake of 60 undergraduate students. Subsequently, the intake was increased to 90 in the year 2006. Finally the intake increase to 120 during the year 2007. The Department started post graduate (M.Tech) course in Electronics and Communication with an annual intake of 18 students from 2012.

The faculty is very good. There are good teachers. Most of the teachers are from IITs,NITs,etc. There are sub-professors which are directed by professors. Teachers behave like friends with students. The teachers help the students whenever they need any. They are very qualified and smart. Many teachers have rekations with MNCs.

The fee is 60000 per semester and the hostel fee is 70000 per year for non ac rooms and 95000 for ac rooms. The fee may be more to some students and parents but the college provides scholarship too. There are many kinds of Scholarships and if the child has any good ranks and scores in jee exam he will be given scholarship.

We have freshers party and a fest every year. Freshers party will be in 1st sem when 1st year folks will come and all the senior folks will contribute money among themselves and some contribution from college , we will welcome our Juniors. Fest is the time , we will give a farewell to our final year students. Fest will be for 4 days,satrting 2 days will be technical fest following by cultural fest.

If you will talk about the Labs, college have pretty good components who are new or latest in the market. If you will talk about Exams , on every exam there will be externals who will be coming for interrogation and any type of violation or indiscipline will cause a serious injury to your career.

Course curriculum was really normal like any other college of MP. The structure is good too and all the syllabus is covered properly but college wants students to focus more on self study. Electives options are limited as per the availability of faculty or I'll say they are pretty much decided and You have to opt for those choices only.

Labs used to happen frequently and Exams pattern was as follows Start of Semesters, Unit tests, Mid semester Exams, Pre University Tests, Internal Viva Exams, External Viva and Practical Exams, Main University Exam. Overall It looks hectic but One could manage it with small amount of focus and determination.

Campus life is indeed what distinguishes our college. There are a multitude of extracurricular events that take place from time to time recording a lot of participation of students as well as a lot of shows of talent by the music and dance clubs of the college. Thus filling the campus with an aura of delight.Competitions like-debates,sports etc are held from time to time giving students opportunity to show their skills.

In the campus recruitment programme 2015-16,their were as many as 118 recruiters and overall a total number of 1408 offers generated through these visits.The average salary was 7.12 lakhs per annum and the highest national offer was 26.83 lakhs per annum. Maximum recruiters were reportedly from the software sectors like Amazon, Facebook, Google, Oracle, Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Tech Mahindra etc.

I opt for banking and insurance and i scored 77.26 because of which i got better opportunities in my career.

College conducts very good technical, cultural, management festivals. College also provides an opportunity for students to take part in international, state level, national level competitions.

As I said earlier, this college was allocated to me through Engineering CET. I visited the college and paid the required fee to get the admission.

It was routine stuff as usual for any government oriented seats. Wrote the entrance exam. According to the rank ,i was called for counselling at CET office malleswaram. DD of the course was taken along with your CET marks Card. The counselling panel asked for which college you are interested ,told them about it.

Roughly around 350 students were placed all along out 600 approx including all departments , mostly in cognizant -package -4 LPA, TCS-3.8 LKPA, Wipro -2.75 LPA ,Aricent -5 LPA ,Mind tree -6 LPA and other well versed companies whose average pay was around to 4-5 LPA.

We had tutorials only in first year every week. Later no tutorials. We have 2 term tests in each semester. For each term test we used to get Question bank. Term test paper was based on it. If you get less than 8/20 you need to write retest. Which will have same question or sometimes they change it. If you miss term test 1 then after term test 2 there will be retest of failed tests before submissions.

This year it was good. Many companies came. But not A grade companies.Some companies wanted bond. Even MR i.e. sales jobs were offered. Not so happy with this 2 to 3.1 Lpa were offered. Some of those who got selected aren't yet joined. College needs to improve this. Our times Tpo was really nice n helping. Even after passing out she is helping to those who haven't got jobs.

All faculties and staff members are very helpful to the students. If you ask any questions in regards to curriculum or extra-curricular activities, the faculties will guide you properly. Some permanent faculties will guide you in any problems. Students can go to the faculties anytime in classroom or after classes.

Campus life is cool and there is no any differentiation - gender or racial. All genders are treated equally. There are other facilities like library, canteen, auditorium, etc. Also there are many activities done during the course like sports, cultural activities, competitions, debates,etc.

Since I just took admission and I'm in first year, I don't know about their package but every year 30% to 40% students are placed. Wipro, Infosys, TATA Consultancy Services, Syntel, Wipro Technologies, Cognizent Technology solution and many more companies visits our campus. They offer minimum 4 lakhs per year approximately.

Fee structure is really so high. I've mentioned the details below. Tuition fee- 44,000/-INR, Admission Fee- 5000/-INR, Library cum Book Bank Fee- 4000/-INR. Students welfare Sports and Games- 1000/-INR, University Development fee (Payable to WBUT)- 2,200/-INR , Caution Deposit (Refundable)- 10,000/-INR.

The exam structure includes basically 6 trimesters spread over 6 modules. Each trimester/module has a mix of sales, marketing, HR, general management,etc and related learning. Exams were held at the end of every trimester, to check on the learning's of every individual for these trimesters.

Post CAT results, i got a call gor groyo discussion. Post clearing Group Discussion which lasted for almost 15-20 minutes, there was a personal interview. In the interview there was a panel who interviewed in a plethora of topics. Basis clearing this, I was offered a seat on the program

We are affiliated to Anna university . So it is the Anna university syllabus. We had electives in final year from which we can choose two. The subjects like business ethics are the electives. First year the syllabus is common for all the branches such as mechanical,civil etc. We also have some management paper also in each semester.

We have Head of the department for each department whom we can go and complain about any issue.If anything regarding fees and payment we have to meet our Administrator office .We have many faculty in our department itself. But for some special subject like management papers we have faculty from management department.
