The faculties including professors are much good. All the faculties have a good base on the subject that they suppose to teach. They Will help students to get good score in all the examination. They were ready to help us round the clock. There was no boundary between us. I am proud to be a part of that college.

In a semester there will be two labs all the logistics needed for the labs were well set in our college. All the faculties are really helpful even the computer students had to undergo mechanical, electrical labs in their first semester. It was really fun to be a part of the Civil labs.

On campus placement was not good at all there were no companies coming in our college that year. 2013 Every body gave Amcat and Elitmus exams to get placed. Then college took details of those who got placed through these portals and published it as list of places students. There was one startup company which offered 1.8 lac pa, there was another Thought Works company which offered 6 lac pa but didn't select anybody.

Only few faculty were well educated. Rest were just M tech from not so good college. knowledge base also was good of few faculties. Faculty gave more importance on file submission as keeping the proof of topic taught our data structure and computer networks faculty were good. Few times there were no faculty for a subject for weeks. There were few senior faculties with good knowledge.

Placements and job opportunities are very good here in this college. About more than 90% in CSE branch were placed last year(2016 batch). Avg Package were around 4-5 lac.

Course Structure is very good. There is no electives until Final Year, but still all subjects in course structure are put perfectly for Student's growth in Engineering.

In VIT there is an online portal for students and teachers all are connected by intranet, so any time you can reach to faculty and all teacher is Masters and Ph.D. so they are master of there subject, they teach in-depth and for every subject, there is LABS facility.

GTRVITAS Technical, REVERA Cultural are the two events which were celebrated in our college, we enjoyed allot and everyone participated in those events, that was the nice experience of my life in college.

As this is under PTU, the curriculum remains the same as it was for last 10 years. As most institute do, they do the same covers most of the theatrical stuff and least of the practical. Not a blame to college, but a blame to university. Now I believe this has come as deemed university, things will change and change I expect will be good.

Though I was not part of campus placement as it was peak recession time, but it's not bad nor good in terms of placements. Good candidates will definitely get placements.In terms of Companies I talk Mahindra, Ford, Godrej,TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Accenture do visit and packages can go high upto 7-8 LPA .

There were so many events celebrated in our college like college Fest, foundation day etc. Many technical events were there like Robot fights, and programming skills. Dance and dramas were being played by the students on different events. There were sports events also, In January , it was the time for sports. Students participates in those events to show their strength and endurance.

Exam structure was so good, after completing 2 units of the syllabus there was unit tests for every subject so that students can prepare every unit properly. After completing the whole syllabus there was Pre University tests to go through complete syllabus. Labs was so much fun and enjoyable, there was a proper lab for the subjects requiring labs in it.

The curriculum is relevant & mixes lot of activities which you would associate with most of the MBA colleges nowadays . I do think however lot of subjects are thrown at us & The kids from commerce struggle at statistics & engineering background find it very tough to follow Finance . But with a little work You could pull it together, I am a person who doesn't do that & found it hard . I had to start work & realize how Finance is important to anyone.

Management could take a chill pill. I did find it caged, but I had friends & faculty through which I could escape it. Not true in everyone's case. Working Days on Bandhs & strikes are really hard . In some cases the feel a tad insensitive. But a lot their structure has helped in an easy transition to the workplace for most . In my case I find my workplace to be more stress free, dress code for girls & boys are stratospheres apart.

Though its a fashion college, people will think that there will be only girls, but Nift stands outside this box and we will have exactly 50% of both genders. Nift campus teaches you how to handle things in both positive and negative aspects a Niftian can manage any kind of situation. Nift is famous for its extracurricular activities. we have all kind of relaxations apart from our general work. Nift is a place where you can stay with people all over the India. You can see North Indian, South Indian, North East people even NRI students in our college there wont be any caste partition or racism in our college.

Exams in Nift is something different from others, you wont be writing pages and pages of answers instead of you will be enjoying with group of externals with their random questions on your collection which you have not thought of before. There is so much of last minute works during our exams. We have to present our collection to the externals which we call them as jury and jury members. We have to display all we have done and we do decorate our show boards as well with manikins.

Now i don't remember exact names of electives but as per course focus provided elective subjects are good enough like mobile communication, Embedded system, also some electives are management related etc.

Hostel facility is amazing as many of my friends are living in hostel annual ROBOTICS competition is held and the seniors help the new comers to gain the skill and expertise cultural wise : its totally rocking by the end of odd numbered semester, No diversity and no tolerance regarding gender.

College Fest Fresher's Party Convocation Party Annual Sports Day. I participated in Annual sports Day twice in consecutive years and win a medal and certificate. Annual Sports took around 3 to 4 days to complete. In Fresher every year VIP like singer visit to our college and perform their live performance. Debates were organised in every semester and that was for the students so that they interact with other students of other branch. That too helped us in making us bold and leaving us our shy in expressing something.

In my batch 80 were almost placed out of 120. Average package was 3.2lac per annum. So many get high packages of 6 to 8 lac also because they were topper. Although from my batch all were good students but most of them they started their own business so they didn't sat for the placement. My TPO was very good his reference was awesome and his tackle abilities were ultimate. By his words he has the ability to influence the person to whom he is talking. Because of him several company visited in our campus.

Since MBA newly had started in the college so there was not such facilities abs, sports, competitions such as robotics, debates etc. Its just that there was a library from where we course issue MBA Books and study. As fr as the Gender ratio is concerned we were just 6 girls and all boys. Since Bihar itself is in a developing phase so life is little sophisticated so parties in college was a big no.

The course curriculum is common for MBA as other colleges of Delhi etc.Since my specialization was MBA in marketing,which is a subject where we can relate may examples from the common world so understanding and moving ahead was a bit easy. the crowd was also good.the professors too were very helpful. The seniors helped a lot in following the course curriculum.

B tech in information technology ,Initially the school was organized and managed by a citizen of Bhadrak, the late Narendra Prasad Das. However in the middle 1960s, it was closed down. It restarted in 1982 as Barapda School of Engineering & Technology (BSET) at the same site. This was possible due to the leadership of late Chintamani Mohanty, a leading advocate of Bhadrak who acted as the President of the governing body. Its growth was further advanced when Sri Jugal Kishore Pattnaik, the then Minister of Odisha obtained help for its improvement.

Our college faculty team is to good our financial accounts professor is a CA and marketing professor is retired marketing head of a company like that our faculty are hand picked depending upon our subjects director of the department and she too good in teaching and the worst part is that she is not teaching us and then our director arrange extra certificate program for us for the weight of our resume. They are friendly with students and they clarify our doubt with full kindness.

My elective is marketing now a days marketing is having a good scope and my curriculum is good and fine enough for getting a job in today's trend college curriculum is getting updated 3 year once. Next is that they cannot change the full syllabus which is given from the university and our faculty are very helpful for choosing the elective which the students require for their placements and then the curriculum is the hands of the direct.

Well the exam structure is controlled by the Anna University Chennai. Therefore its very strict and good but even though it also has some flaws. Exam pattern is not something which I can call world class.

Placement and job opportunities are poor. Because Placement And Training department of the college is not pro-active. Very few companies comes to hire if at all and mostly from BPO sector.

Very friendly and well experienced faculties. The support and training provided by our faculties is extraordinary. Encourages their students in each and every point. Coming to the placements which need and effort to improve from the college management. Otherwise if one chooses this college can expect good career growth.

Placement and Job opportunities is the place where they need an improvement. Though they provide or conduct training sessions on placements, they do not assure any Placements. At the time I passed out, Infosys and wipro were the only two companies who took part in Placements.

There is annual cultural event by name Ecstatica. Each and every dept has its own association and college has different clubs like Literary, Music, Painting and dance club. There clubs and associations have wide variety of events every week. Also there is ISTE Student Chapter and IEEE Student branch which gives national and international exposure to our students. .

Campus is life fantastic. It has very Eco friendly atmosphere spread over 180 acres of land. It has very good cricket, foot ball, basket ball, volley ball, rocket ball, tennis courts. Running track and Gym as well. As I said earlier college has different clubs which has different events like debates, discussions etc.

The college boasts of 100% placement through campus selection and it lives upto it. However there will always be some exceptions. But the college reputation brings enough companies for students to get selected. Many a times a student has 2 or more offers. so it depends on the student how good he is in converting the opportunities given by the college.

There is a program of six months internship in 7th/8th semester where students need to search internship for themselves. The college does guides where one can go. Companies like Infosys, Wipro hired for internship. While other students worked on their own and got selected for internship in some or the other companies.

MCA is very good course to build up your career in IT industries. MCA is to be called Software Engineering as well. Many Governmental Organisations like Bank, Post Office, School, College, specially recruits MCA students as well. MCA is a professional course, it will help you to built your professional career successful.

I got lot of choice to choose from MBA Marketing , HR , Banking , IT all were professional choice so undergone for IT as I was having IT background. So it given me wide choice to be the part of the course and got interviewed in IT company like wipro , TCS etc.

Exams are stable don't give us so much hectic day and labs are mostly chilled out always makes us feel relaxed and expressing our views with no pains . We can discuss with faculty about lectures any difficulties regarding exams . So overall its a good experience.

As per government they will charge it , for management it will be 60 to 80k and there will be separate charge for hostel. Hostel also has good environment hostel per annul it will be like 20 to 30k , there will be less charge for merit students, it is totally based on merit and also they charge as per govt fees.

There is Separate team for placement cell , they will guide you based on your performance. They will provide placements tips, and also providing communication, aptitude skills for interview purpose. They will bring mnc companies to our campus and based on performance company hr will recruit the people.
